Study is basically emphasized on functions and purpose that will be associated withHuman resource management and its applicability in the organization. It is mainly emphasizedon various practices that will be organized in the company that will be helpful for both employerand employee. Furthermore, it includes different practices that will help in improvingproductivity and profitability in the company. In an organization employee relation plays animportant role that will be beneficial for the future. Various methods that will be used by humanresource management by motivating them to do work. Key legislation will be applicable whiledoing business in other country that will affect decision making process. lACTIVITY 1lObjective and various function of human resource managementIt is important for Tesco to adopt different strategies that will be useful for the companyin the future. Through different activities it will be easy to achieve competitive advantage in thecompany. It concentrates on internal sources that will help in providing different aspects inTesco (Ranjan, 2017). There are different functions of HRM such as planning, organizing, directing andcontrolling. Aswithout proper planning company’s operation will not work properly enhance in gainingknowledge and attracting various aspects of the company. It is important to do planning inadvance that will be beneficial in future (Martin-Rios, Pougnet and Nogareda, 2017. As there arevarious perspective providing to employees in company. Organizing is another function that willbe performed by human resource department for providing various activities. It needs to developdifferent plans and programs that will be conducted by the company in future. Another functionis directing that will be providing different plans future courses that will be helpful for Tesco. Asit is important to direct employees in the company otherwise they will not be able to workproperly. Direction is important for employees while working in the company as there arevarious perspective for providing different ways that bring together employees to get workdone in the future.
