IntroductionHuman resource management is one of the most useful tools in the business market in thepresent times and the reason for this is that it only helps the management of the companies,especially the international companies to keep track of the employees that they have but also onwork on the relationship that they will share and the things that they have for the developmentand the success of the employees. The aspects that are related to the same are discussed in detailin this assignment wile keeping the companies and there working style in mind. will be discussedin the different parts of this assignment with references to the companies and their working style.(Human Resource Management, 2009)Task 11.1. Stating the difference between personnel management and human resourcemanagement with two different organizations as example.There are many tools and techniques in the business market and the point that has to be kept inmind for all of them is that they have their own version of simplicity and complexity and it is inthe hands of the management of the related companies to decided the magnitude that they wantto use in the operations of the company. The same is the case with the way the employees arebeing managed in the present times. The first concept that is there is something which is calledthe personnel management which related to the small scale companies in which they only makesure that the employees of the company know what they have to do and the attendance that theygive for these tasks. But the international companies that operate on the worldwide platform usedthe advanced form of this technique which is called the human resource management wherein theemployees are treated as the asset for the company which has to be maintained and developedwith time and efforts. This is the reason that the companies like the marks and Spencer make useof the tools to give the employees proper growth and professional development. (Dozier, 2013). Personnel management is more cost centred where they see there employee ascommodity while HRM treat there employee as resources and are more profit oriented wherethey invest in human resources for more future utility purpose. Personnel management wheretreat its employee as economic man and work as auxiliary function, HRM treat employee associal, psychological and economic man who are in company for mutual benefits.
