INTRODUCTION
It is important for the individual to know about the career that he wants to possess.
Continuous professional development is a process that helps to manage the growth as well as
learning (Knott, 2021). In this report there is discussion related to employability and study skills
that will help an individual to become an effective and successful human resource manager.
MAIN BODY
Gibbs reflective cycle is a six stages cycle that helps to explore the experience of a person. It
came into existence in 1988 and was developed by Graham gibbs. The six stages of the reflective
cycle are discussed below:
Description: It is the first stage in the model. When I start studying in the university I was
committed towards learning new things (Waltz, 2019). I was eager to interact with new people
and at that time I was able to enhance my communication skills. Along with that I was able to
walk on my time management skills at the same time as I am made schedule of reaching the
university on time and taking all the letters in completing the assignment in time. As I want to
become a Human Resource manager I always focused on communication skills as I believe that
they are required to perform the job of Human resource effectively.
Feelings: It is the next stage that occurs after experience. The feelings are based on the
experience. While studying I faced various challenges and there were various conflicts that took
place that disappointed me in the starting but after that I was able to develop problem solving
skills and that help me to resolve the conflicts and work effectively. When I joined the
University I was fearful and was not able to understand the situation. But as I started interacting
with people and seniors I became sure that I am good at interacting and these skills will me to
become good HR manager. At the same time we were given group projects and we have to work
on projects in you that help me to enhance my teamwork skills. While working with others there
is need of good communication skills as well as that help to build network and relations with the
colleagues that are helpful to complete the project in effective manner. I felt good when I was
able to solve the problems that are faced by others. As that is required to get a good job and work
over it effectively (Opiniano, Daquipil and Romarate, 2021). As at the time of employment the
employees face certain challenges that need to be solved by the HR of the company.
