INTRODUCTIONStudy skills are the set attributes which allow an individual to enhance their knowledgeabout different concepts and theories in a way which assist them in their practical application. The following report is based on Human Respiratory and Cardiac Systems and it covers effectivenote making using Linear and Mind Mapping, and production of a well defined plan on thesubject. Furthermore, it involves writing a project as well as reflection and evaluation of ownperformance.TASK 11.1. Critical Selection and Synthesising InformationHuman Respiratory and Cardiac System is a crucial subject which relates to a wide areaof medical practice and thus, it is important that this subject is effectively studied and appropriatenotes are made using several sources which adds to effectiveness in learning. There are threedifferent sources, which has been used to produce prominent notes related to this subject. Thesesources are book, journal and an online website. Moreover, to synthesize the information, twodifferent types of methods are utilised. Following are few notes using these two methods:Linear Notes:Human Respiratory System refers to an effective combination of several organs whichare effectively responsible for carrying the breathing functions of a body, which is inhalingoxygen and exhaling carbon dioxide (Sherwood, 2015). Respiratory System Parts:There are several parts within this system which are mentioned below:Nose: The organ through which oxygen enters into the human body.Sinuses: After entering through the nose, the oxygen effectively passes throughsinuses, which refer to hollow spaces within skill and are responsible for regulatinghumidity as well as temperature of air which enters in the body.Trachea: Another term for windpipe, it effectively filters the inhaled air whichfurther is branched into bronchi.Bronchial Tubes: These are a two tubes which carries the air within the lungs.Lungs: These are a pair which processes the air inhaled and helps in exhaling carbondioxide (Heneghan and et. al., ResMed Sensor Technologies Limited, 2016).1
