Abstract
This is a research over human rights applicable in United Kingdom over different
organization. Impacts of human rights applicable over business organisation will also address
in this report.
INTRODUCTION
Human rights considers as all such legislative rights provided to human being in
United Kingdom. Governments in United Kingdom applicable different legislations like
labour law to prevent forceful labour in United Kingdom. With the support of Slavery
Abolition Act, 1833 government implemented this legislative function. Many other rights
such as data protection, minimum wage payment, equality, disability act, maternity and
paternal right, discrimination and other relevant legislations are applicable in United
Kingdom to ensure proper treatment of human being in business sector. Anti discrimination is
also among the key human rights provided to all human resources in United Kingdom.
Background: This report is based on the different human rights applicable in United
Kingdom associated with the business organisations. Application of all such human rights
will be analysed in this research.

Methodology

Research Type
Research type is a process that support in collecting necessary information and data
for the research. Based on the aims and objectives all necessary information collected in
research type. Researches can be based on the qualitative and quantitative research type.
Qualitative researches do not emphasis on data collection. Quantitative research is more
based on mathematical collection of data. The aim of the research is to identify about
different human rights applicable in United Kingdom over business so the qualitative
research type is preferred as it do not need collection of data. The research is more like a
qualitative type of research.
Research Philosophy
Research philosophies supports in achieving the objectives behind the research.
Philosophies identified for the research are segregated as positivism, interpretivism and
realism. Positivism gives emphasis to true facts about the topic (Hancock, 2019). It gives
emphasis to all facts and information stated in different generals and other informative
modes. Interpretivism is all about the understanding level of in the individual over a certain
topic. Realism philosophy of research is based on the idea of independence of a reality from
the brain of human being. In order to conduct this research both positivism and interpretivism
philosophies will be channelized. Main priority will be associated with positivism philosophy
of research.
Research Design
Research design is indicated as the framework of research comprises with the
methods and techniques which supports in implementation of research. In order to collect
different information about the research topic techniques and methods use in research design
play an effective role. Research design is comprises with inductive, deductive and adductive
designs of research. As this research is based on the qualitative research type so the inductive
research design will be channelized to conduct the research.
Research Approach
Research approaches are segregated into three different kinds’ exploratory,
explanatory and descriptive approaches of research. All approaches comprises with its own
usage (Hick, Halpin and Hoskins, 2016). Exploratory research supported in identifying few

of the research questions. To get the understanding about the behaviour of legislation
descriptive approach f research is channelized. Exploratory research is channelized to analyse
the influence of different human rights over society. All research approaches has its own
implication and also supported in conducting this research also.
Sampling
Sampling is a process that supports in collecting different information about the
research. Information is among the key elements involve in research as all outcomes of the
research are depends upon the information collected through sampling (Jones, Comfort and
Hillier, 2016). Two sampling methods are indicated which also titles as probability sampling
and non probability sampling. As the aim of the research is to generate information about
different human rights applicable in United Kingdom non probability sampling tool will be
used. This sampling tool not gives priority to retrench information source which allows in
collecting all the significant information over the topic.
Data Collection
Data collection is a systematic process to collect information from the sampling
method chosen for implementing the research. Data collection is among the crucial process
involved in the research. This stage put huge impacts over the outcome of the research. In
order to collect the information two data collection methods aer specified which are projected
as primary and secondary data collection. Primary collection is the fresh data that are
collected with the own efforts putting into data collection. Personal interviews of different
personals and expert over human rights can be channelized in the primary data collection
process (Knudsen, 2017). Secondary data collection emphasis on channelizing the already
collected information to implement the research. In this research secondary method of data
collection will be used. This is a time saving method to collect information over the human
rights. As the information related to legislations are generally not influenced in order to
interpret the information. Researcher needs to key it precise which do not allows them to
make any changes in the information. Secondary data collection technique will save time in
collecting all necessary information about the research.
Data Analysis
Data analysis involves interpreting the information collected in data collection
process. All information over the human rights collected in data collection will be interpreted

in this stage to get the necessary information over the topic. Outcomes of the research are
deeply influenced with the data analysis stage (Padgett, 2016). There are two methods
signifies to project the information in data analysis stage. Methods for data analysis are
segregated into thematic and statistical. As this research do not comprises with mathematical
data collection so the thematic data analysis technique will be channelizes to conduct the
research.
Ethical Consideration
Ethical consideration focuses on ethical side of the research. All sources used for the
research are reliable and authenticated. Reliability play huge role in improving the crux of the
entire research. It is also important for the researcher to follow the systematic approach to
conduct the research. All necessary approaches that are needed to conduct the research will
be used in order to gain proper information over the topic.

As per the views of Ramasamy, Arumugam and Chandran, (2017) Government in
United Kingdom has implemented the Slavery Abolition Act, 1833. This legislative
implications provide peoples in United Kingdom to not to get forced by anyone as far as
employment is concerned. This legislative function allows peoples in United Kingdom a
freedom in choosing the employment and the place of employment. Right to privacy is also
among the crucial right empowered by the legislation in United Kingdom to people’s lives in
UK. Privacy has been the huge issue for all local peoples all across the globe. Privacy is
defined as maintaining the distance by the other person with an individual. This also clearly
indicates that an individual should not cross certain limit without the consent of the other
person.
As per the opinions of Semyonova, (2018) equality is also the big issue witnessed in
past. In many businesses organisation peoples and employees who are disabled in any
contexts used to treat differently. With the application of this legislation government has
provided rights to all disable individuals to get equal treatment over workplace. Women’s
also faced this issue allot in which they treated inappropriately at the work place due to the
gender. This right also assure women’s to get the equal treatment and equal preferences by

the organisations on the basis of skills and capabilities. Author has indicated that equality
played huge role in improving the work place culture in United Kingdom. It created positive
impacts over the business environment in United Kingdom.
Data privacy is also among the key issue that is witnessed by the government by
providing data protection act. As stated by Walker, (2016) government in United Kingdom
has provided rights to all employees associated with any business organisation a right to
protect the data. Business organisations take plenty of personal information about the
candidates applies for any job in the company to assess the background of the candidate.
Government has opposed this legislation over all organisations to protect the personal
information of the employees. In case of any breech of this legislative function associated
guilty personals will get legal implications against the breach of this act. Wright, (2017)
mentioned in United Kingdom all individuals and graduates provided right of gender
equality. In order to deal with the gender discrimination government in United Kingdom has
allocated this right to all professionals and graduates to get equal treatment at work place
irrespective to any gender. This right has improved the work culture in different organisation
engaged business operations in United Kingdom. It has also positively impacted over the
employee well being in United Kingdom. Other human rights such anti discrimination, equal
pay and other human rights are also applicable in United Kingdom.
Recommendation
Human rights are a very precise topic for research as the topic comprises with
immense amount of information over human rights. Government in United Kingdom are very
keen to facilitate human resources in business environment. It can be recommended that
primary forms and techniques for data collection can also be used to project the updated
information over human rights in United Kingdom. As the government always implements
necessary changes in legislations to meet the existing needs and demands. Secondary
research emphasis more over utilising the existing researches to collect information. This
reduces the scope of channelizing all latest development in legislations. Due to secondary
research the crux of the entire research is restricted to in boundaries which do not project the
complete advantages of conducting research. It is also recommended that feedbacks from
employees and different organisation body’s must also be taken over human rights. This will
provide complete information on the impacts legislations for human rights are putting at the
practical level. Inclusion of company’s management level will give scope to address the
concern of management in respect to human rights. Many times legislative implication also

provides scope to misuse. Feedbacks from senior management will reduce the possibility of
misuse of legislative rights granted to employees. It is recommended that probability
sampling can be channelized for some specific human right legislation. As some legislation
are not updated from longer time. Probability sampling technique can be used for collecting
necessary information in respect to such human rights. This will save allot of time in
collecting information about such human rights.
Limitations
The aim of the research is to project about the human rights in United Kingdom
applicable for business organisations. This research does not give much emphasis on the
implications and practical impacts of such legislations associated human rights. The
outcomes of the research are limited as it do not summarise the complete information about
the human rights implications. The information collected in this research is with the support
of non probability sampling technique which is time consuming method to collect
information. In case of some human rights that are not updated from very long time can be
gathered with the support of probability sampling technique in order to save time.
Conclusion
This report has summarised different human rights such as equality, labour right, and
gender equality, anti discrimination and other human rights applicable over different business
organisations. This report has also summarised the different aspects of research such as
research methodologies, Literature review, recommendation and limitations of research.
Qualitative research is channelized to conduct this research. This research is further based on
the positivism, interpretivism and realism philosophies associated with the research. Research
design used in this research is inductive in nature. This research is based on the non
probability sampling. All information will be collected from non probability sampling
technique. Secondary data collection method will be channelized. This research has
summarised precise information over human rights applicable in United Kingdom associated
with business environment.
