Human trafficking is the worst type of crime in maximum part of the world and it is a subject
of complicated legal definitions. The essence of human trafficking is mostly related with the
economic exploitation, where a person or a group of people is kept by some criminals or any
organisation for the economic exploitation against the will of the person or people that is very
likely to a trafficker. However, human trafficking is not a new term but it is still a global
issues which is out of control in most of the under developed and developing countries. Some
of the girls who are captured in the hotels are using by the hotels as the sex slave (Di Nicola
74). However, human trafficking is related with all men, women, girls, and children. They all
are used by the people for the economic exploitation or earning money without their consent
or will. In simple words, it can be said that human trafficking is related to trade of humans
including men, women, children, and girls for the purpose of forced sex, forced, labour, or
forced sexual exploitation of these people by the trafficker or others (Shelley 144). However,
it can be said that human trafficking is a serious and challenging issue in the world, which is
not under control of many countries including USA, India, and South Africa. However, the
large number of such cases has been registered in underdeveloped countries or in poor
countries where people or group of people are involved in this type of crime for money.
According to a report of Global Survey Index, more than 40.3 million people including men,
women, children, and girls were victims in all over the world of any given day in 2016.
According to an estimate of International Labour Organisation, the annual profits from the
forced labour and sexual slavery is more than US $150 billion in 2016 that affects the entire
world including developed, developing and underdeveloped countries (Greenbaum, Bodrick,
and Committee on Child Abuse and Neglect e20173138). Human trafficking is one of the
worst types of crime and second large criminal industry that endure the victims for sexual
exploitation, forced labour, extraction of organs, and forced marriage (Graycar
