1HUMANITIES
The various cave drawings and other pieces of art have been great examples of
expressing the feelings and experiences of people. The people of the pre-historic times were not
able to communicate through words like the people of the modern times (Reid, 2014). The
people of the modern times communicate with each other communicate through words but
initially they had to communicate by painting some symbols on the walls of the cave. These are
the only things that the archaeologists have recovered. This clearly reflects the needs of the
human beings effectively (Reid, 2014). It is a unique experience for the people of the modern
times. The human beings during that time used to paint the pictures just like in a 3D space where
the further objects looked smaller and they were made obscure by the closer images. The people
of that time also used the cave to paint the 3D animals (Reid, 2014). This artistic feature shapes
yhe experience of the people during that time.
A modern person can express himself or herself in an artistic manner through his or her
things of interests like music, singing, dancing, recitation or drawing (Reid, 2014). The artistic
things that motivate the human beings would lead them to express their feelings and emotions.
Certainly a person can express their feeling by writing a poem or reciting it. They can also do the
same by singing their favorite songs (Reid, 2014). These are some proper artistic ways by which
they can express their feelings and emotions.
