This report covers the research on hybrid polymers that is a topic related to polymer
science or polymer engineering. Hybrid polymers offer various advantages as compared to
natural polymers. Thus the benefits as well as loopholes are discussed in this article.
Hybrid polymers
Hybrid polymer is a new research topic found in the field of polymer. It is a new
compound that is formed by the composite combination of various scientific compounds. The
demand of hybrid polymers is increasing day by day. These are used in various applications
like structuring of aircrafts, automotive structures, electronic packaging, and biomedical
equipment along with home building infrastructures, Badrossamay (3189). There are some
challenges that are faced in hybrid polymers is the quality of the produced compound. It is
also beneficial at some part as it produces a new compound that can be used for specific
application.
Hybrid polymers are used to combine the best features of some specific compounds.
Every compound has some features that add up its value. Thus features of different
compounds are added to make a better compound. This topic aim to foster scientific
understanding as hybrid polymerisation is possible only by the advancement in technology. It
offers a platform for scientist to make new compounds and develop multifunctional polymers
,Ko (54539). Hybrid polymers are aimed in today’s era to bring all the updated achievements
together in design the polymer semiconductors and new compounds with entirely different
structure and performance. The hybrid polymers are used to design new polymers that have
improved properties. Developing hybrid polymers help in designing new materials for
existing applications, Benlin (3405). It is a new approach to solve all the problems by
developing new processes to make new materials.
Hybrid polymers are utilized to consolidate the best highlights by some particular
mixes. Each compound has few properties that have various advantages. Therefore highlights
of various mixes are added to improve a compound. The theme intended by this paper is to
cultivate logical understanding of hybrid polymerisation is conceivable just by the
progression in innovation, Greaney (31). It offers a stage for researcher to make new mixes
and create multifunctional polymers. It provides freedom for designing composite
compounds. This method was introduced due to low impact of natural compound
performance. By creating hybrid compounds performance of can be enhanced and improved
,Greaney (31). The process of hybridisation is a way to strengthen the performance of
materials. The properties of hybrid compounds can be adjusted according to the requirements.
The main impact in research industry is to improve the properties and also enhance the
characteristics.
The key features offered by hybrid compounds is to provide a clear understanding of
the present states that utility of hybrid polymer could be increased. This is produced by the

combination of compounds of diverse properties. From the research it can be stated that it is
an emerging trend to develop advanced materials that offer functional properties. They are
cost effective as they offer compounds that are highly stable and have improved resistance.
The properties in hybrid polymers are far better than natural polymers , Li (753). The
productivity and functioning is also enhanced. There are various safety measures offered by
hybrid polymers like it provides excellent adhesion to materials and surfaces. The new
polymers designed can be usable at any temperature. The compounds have high chemical
resistance and also offer colour stability.
Polymers has high resistance as they do not get split like glasses easily and also have
high durability and is cost effective in many applications. The hybrid optics is one of the sub
compounds of hybrid polymer. It offers a freedom to select any glass optics by reducing the
overall weight by lowering the production cost. It also has high thermal stability and low
manufacturing cost. The hybrid polymers do not require additional solvents as it is made up
of high technology. They are also used in industrial application and are very environmental
friendly. The technology of hybrid compounds is increasing day by day as it open up door for
various applications, Colò (188). Considering an example new hybrid polymers are used to
produce system with higher quality. Hybrid polymers are the clusters of organic compound
that is fabricated to form new polymer. The hybrid materials can be of any kind either
structurally hybridized materials, material hybridized chemical bond and functionally
hybridized materials. Functionally hybridized polymers are created to complement the
functions of other components.

Conclusion
It can concluded hybrid polymers are designed by combining various polymers to
obtain a new polymer. It has combined features of various polymers especially designed to
great better advantages.
