Introduction
Hypervisor is a method that helps in separation between the operating system of the
computer and the applications. The separation is done with respect to the physical hardware.
The hypervisor helps in driving the idea of virtualization by giving permission the host
machine for operating multiple virtual based machine in order to maximize the efficiency of
the different resources of the computer (Desai et al., 2013). The different computing
resources are the CPU cycles, the network bandwidth and the memory. The hypervisor
technology helps in driving innovation related with the cloud computing technology.
Architecture
Virtualization is a type of hypervisor. The hypervisor is used to isolate the operating
systems and the different applications which is used as the computer hardware. The model of
the virtualization hypervisor is a conceptual model which helps in specifying the different
arrangements and the relationship between the different components (Eder, 2016).The
virtualization architecture helps in managing the different physical and the virtual resources
of the system. In the hosted architecture the hardware is installed at the initial stage. After the
installation of the hardware the virtual machine is installed. The software is used to installed
different multiple operating systems. The installed application is then run on the system. The
architecture helps the development of the software and support various types of operating
systems. There are different unreliable factors related to the hardware resources. However,
with the help of the architecture various types of troubleshoot is solved. The management of
all the layers can be done properly with the hypervisor. The architecture is different from that
of the traditional model of hypervisor.
