Compassion requires t he nurses

pat ients. It i s about giving respect
t o their feelings and opinions and
t reat ing them as t hey want to be
t reat ed.
The nurses should have adequat e
skills and knowledge about t heir
profession, t o have sufficient
expertise f or effect ive patient care,
t hat means they should be
competent and professional.

It includes commitment and
assurance t o improve t he care and
experience of t he patient s.
Confidence
It is the faith in the ability
on oneself. It is
important for the nurses
to be confident to
achieve their goals. As
experience grows
confidence also
develops.

It involves the legal, ethical and
moral decision-making in nursing
which helps the nurses to resolve the
ethical and legal issues that arise in
the clinical settings. It gives a sense
of accountability and responsibility
towards their profession
