Project Overview
The implementation of a network is very essential for any type of business and this helps
the organization in the communication procedures. The project deals with the network set up of
ABC Company. The company has its branches located at various locations however as the
company is a startup they need a layout for their network to start with. The company has started
with three branches and office building for the headquarters as well. As the branches would carry
out the departmental procedures of the company while the headquarters would be assigned with
the administrative procedures.
Client Overview
The client here is the ABC Company who looking to Implement a network for their start
up. Hence, they require a proper network plan so that they can develop their network architecture
very efficiently. In addition to this, the clients would also require the major insights to the
project. This network would be the most important part of business for the clients. The customers
would also be benefited to a great extent as the response time for the network would decreased to
a great extent. Hence, all the business procedures of the company are to be integrated with the
network architecture of the company.
Scope
The project can be described as the following:
 The budget allotted by the company and scheduled time for the project is to be kept in
mind and the completion of the project is also to be accordingly.
 The network architecture should be able to integrate successfully with the business of the
company and should act towards the increase of efficiency of the business of the
company.
 The network layout should also be very precise and meet all the requirements of the
company.
 The current market standards and prices should be kept in mind and the project should be
completed with at least expenditure as possible.

Project Assessment Report
Introduction
The ABC Company is mock company assumed for this report. The company is a startup
and should be provided with a network architecture that would provide the company with the
opportunity so that there is an increase of efficiency in the business procedures. This would also
help the company in communication and also increase the security of the data of the company.
The response time for the company should also be managed efficiently with the network
implementation. I as the network administrator have been approached by the client for
development of the network. Hence, the project plan has been developed for the implementation
of the network for the client. The project plan and the security policies that have been developed
has been provided in this report.
Project Findings
The major findings in the project are:
 The company has no previous network layout and hence, the network topology for the
company has to be developed from scratch.
 The network designed is also to be based on an organization with multiple branch since,
the company is situated across several locations.
 The staffs of the company also save their data on the network and hence, the flow of
traffic is also to be managed by this network.
Project recommendations
The following recommendations can be very useful for the project:
 Cloud based solution: It is recommended that a cloud based solution is adopted for the
implementation of the network. The cloud based solution would provide the network the
ability of efficient communication and reduce the response time.
 Efficient Monitoring: The network should be monitored regularly after implementation.
The implemented network is to be upgraded regularly so that the possible lagging in the
network can be avoided.
 Portal based communication network: In addition to the above recommendations it is
recommended that a portal be maintained for the company as the employees of the

company would be able to communicate freely among themselves while maintaining
their privacy.
Project OHS Concerns
With the implementation of the network the employees of the company might be facing
some health hazards in the workplace. The various type of network hazards that can damage the
health of the people involved in the work area are shot circuits and data hazards of different type.
The OHS policy should be developed by the company so that they follow the standards prevalent
in the market or else the staffs of the company might face a great deal of difficulties.

Target Audience
The target audience in this project plan would be client, the employees of the client, the
network engineers and the hired technicians. The clients are very important as the project is
entirely designed for them and the employees of the company are also very important as they are
