1. Introduction
The IT strategy documents helps in highlighting the major areas that needs to be covered
under the planning for implementation of a new infrastructure and further improve the services
being offered by The Camdale Hospital. The ICT Strategic Plan 2020-2025 thus would discuss
the major factors such as the mission, vision and objectives set by the organization. It would also
discuss the primary driving factors leading to changes within the organization (Smith and Wong
2016). This plan would also highlight strategic themes, capabilities and present a roadmap for the
achievement of beneficial outcomes supporting the hospital administration.
1.1 Executive Summary
The IT strategic document highlights the major prospects of the hospital that would be
followed after the document would be approved by the hospital administration. Thus, this new
strategic document would help towards preparing for an innovative change result for the hospital
and bring in improvements within their present scenario.
The vision, mission and objective set for Camdale Hospital to deliver services are:
Vision – The vision set for Camdale Hospital is based on designing a new system, which
would help patients in gaining the best kind of medical results and thus improve the quality of
services.
Mission - The mission of The Camdale Hospital is to upgrade their existing IT systems,
which would comply with the national health records database and thus deliver a secured system.
The Hospital also aims to develop a mobile application for patients (Marchewka 2016). Thus,

The objectives of The Camdale Hospital in their ICT Strategic Plan 2020-2025 are:

link the present systems.
2. To implement a facility for staff to track emails and work hours.
3. Designing of a mobile application for booking appointments by patients.

1.3 Background of the Organization
The Camdale Hospital is considered as a large and reputable hospital. They provide the
best kind of medical facilities to their patients based on locating their medical records and
providing the best form of medical assistance. However, there are certain processes within the
hospital, which needs to be improved within the hospital that would help them in increasing their
reputation in the global market (Yang et al. 2015). This includes the centralization of medical
data in a cloud repository for gaining a central access to all related data. Development of a
mobile application for patients would also be considered as to be important for patients as it
