Identity theft is one of the most dangerous
cyber attack and it can damage an individual
as well as a company. The presentation
discusses about the identity theft and the
consequences of the identity theft.

• Crime of getting personal information of a
person
• Its purpose is to make purchases with the
identity of the person
• The attackers use credit cards
• In an organization, they steal the customers
information.

CONCLUSION
From the report, it can be inferred that identity
theft can have lot of damage and the
consequences of the identity theft is harmful.
The presentation discusses about the various
forms of identity theft, the effect and th
consequences of the theft and the way the
theft can be mitigated.
