INTRODUCTIONThis present report is based on Costa coffee and snacks store industry and a profession ofmanager. Costa coffee corporation is an American company that was founded in the year of1971. It operates around in 62 countries with having 182,000 employees. The main aim of thisreport is to identify impacts of globalization and changing trends on performance of manager andcoffee industry. In the presented study I am going to show some positive and negative impacts ofgeneral trends & globalization on the performance of manager and coffee industry. Due toglobalization technological changes, competition, culture has various impacts in both positiveand in a negative manner (Johnston, 2017). Further I will show requirements of some skills,knowledge and experience for becoming a successful manager in a Coffee company. With thehelp of primary and secondary sources like interview from managers of Costa coffee I willanalyse and apply skills for a manager post.Analysis & applicationImpacts of general trends & globalization on industryThere are several factors that can have impacts on the performance level of retail coffee& snake store industry. Globalization can be defined as a procedure of spreading ideas, people,technology and goods throughout the world. The main aim of globalization is to make able tocompanies to increase their skills and knowledge in order to take competitive advantages. It hasseveral benefits in social, culture and other context. Socially, globalization leads to a stronginteraction among different culture of people. In the context of culture, globalizations makepeople and companies able to exchange values & ideas among culture. As per the view of (Impacts of changing trends, 2018) technological changes have greaterimpacts on the performance level of food and coffee company that can also impact theperformance of manager. As a manager it is important to focus on employees & manage allresources efficiently. Due to changes in technologies and due to globalization, employees findthemselves replaced that can create several problems for manager. For supporting this view(Bodner and et.al., 2019) it is stated that around 7.5 billion jobs are unfilled by which food &coffee industries growth plan fall.On the other hand believe that technological changes have positive impacts and makemanager of Costa coffee able to accomplish their goals and take competitive advantages.
