Artificial intelligence is one of the booming sectors that has become the flagship
for the latest technological advancement. It has moulded the futuristic planning in new
manner by incorporating the advanced algorithms and mathematical tools. Furthermore,
it has fuelled the discussions whether the application of artificial intelligence and its tools
is a boon or bane for our society on the whole. This onset of exploring AI led to quantum
leaps in various fields such as defence, military use etc. and has contributed vastly in
the development and progression of the entire technological picture (Song and Li,
2018). However, it is significant to understand the dynamism of AI to maintain the
humanitarian grounds by following the ethical standards and responsibilities. This essay
is based on understanding the implications of artificial intelligence on the humanity.

Its impact on the society and corporations is based on creating a system of
relevancy and unambiguity and led to a virtual world that brought accuracy for high
value activities. There are many breakthroughs that have been possible in recent times
due to emergence of artificial intelligence. For instance, formulation of robots as
companion was initiated and Pepper was born who was programmed to feel and
understand emotions similar to human beings by one of the Japan tech companies in
the year 2014. This was appreciated by everyone and by 2016, its sales spiralled in the
US markets and paved the path for such sophisticated inventions (Turchin and
Denkenberger, 2018). Earlier there were loopholes with respect to predictive modelling
due to over-dependencies of the data and mis-intrepretation of information. The
implementation of artificial intelligence made it holistic by finding the correlations and
hypotheses to bring significant discoveries that was never anticipated beforehand and
seemed impossible. In coming years, their existence is going to be evident to the visible
eyes in the form of many innovation notions such as Amazon's Alexa, Google home,
Apple's Siri and many more.

Advantages of AI
This has proved to be beneficial for the elderly care as major developed
countries is undergoing the ageing population in the world currently. Henceforth, this
assisted in providing such senior citizens an additional support in the form of 'home'
robots' to make the everyday chores convenient and accessible for them. It also aids in
filling up the empty places which gets created after the movement of kids occurs either
due to higher education or marriage. Furthermore, this interaction would reap gains in
the form of using cyborgs or handling of duties in simplified order that would inhibit the
complexities attached with living in the society alone after a certain age. In the same
lines, this AI has brought revolutionary changes in the medical field through employing
automated transport facilities and bringing subtle modifications in the treatment
procedures and techniques and have made it into more systematic approach
(Marinchak, Forrest and Hoanca, 2018). There is a consistent utilisation of this big data
analytics that helped in making new developments and discoveries with respect to
finding new threatening species like Zika virus etc. and diseases like Alzheimer',
Dementia and more. Along with this, it implemented several apps and virtual reality
simulations that laid the foundation of real time-frame training and therapies required to
improvise the obsolete and traditional methodologies and tools.
Moreover, it has benefited the society in education sector by using tool like
robots, personal assistants etc. and combined it with the personalized teaching methods
to give an appealing look for students and increase the interest levels at broader
aspects. This technological aspect has helped in the customization of the researches,
studies and other relatable concepts in a more profound mode. For e.g. Microsoft's
Azure machine learning, use of robots like Paro,Nao etc. In addition to this, this has
been useful in the law sector by making the record keeping and maintenance of all
information in unified method at one location (Baum,2018). There is a huge data of
cases from both types (criminal and civil) and hence finding data becomes tiresome,
however, this has been easier now due to better clients' service with better outcomes to
fetch profits in terms of monetary and success.

This has assisted in bringing changes on the climate and the regions which are in
grave need to be preserved. It accesses the data and design the entire escape route for
integrating the GPS to balance-out the distribution systems wherever required. There
was a launch of a project that improved the agricultural yield by combining robotics to
bring sufficient changes in few crops like sorghum. Nonetheless, this also act as
advantageous by upholding the diversified pillars that have been strengthening AI
practices by leveraging the challenges and issues of global levels in terms of health,
food, education etc. This took the innovation aspect to another level only and have
encouraged the competitive advantages in highs and lows by fostering the public good
in proficient manner.
Subsequently, there is an upsurge of driver-less cars and buses which are in the
prototype status. This can support in reduction of drunk driving cases along with
speeding and other accidental causes on roads. It has also shed light on the need of
automated technologies that lead to efficiency and effectiveness and has successfully

busy geographical regions and with this AI's software, it could encompass special

These are not replication of humans however they have been programmed to
comprehend the emotional analysis of human's life to bring some solutions by
eliminating the intellectual and monotonous profiles while doing work or job. There has
been a societal shift in the attitude and behaviour of population while dealing with
adversity or critical obstacle. AI's has widened the horizons by establishing a proactive
approach in clutching their position firmly in the employment market. Along with this,
there is also concerns with the rate of unemployment due to more benefits and
feasibility of AI tools and methods. There has been use of virtual assistants in various
fields like nursing, teaching, hospitality etc. However, this is an expensive option and

needs high maintenance and repairing if created, but it yielded better outcomes and
thus has become a vogue and act as an accessory (Malyn-Smith and et.al., 2018).
Along with, it has put emphasis on the removal of manual labour to minimise wastage
and time efficiency which has again hampered the individual's contribution for the
upliftment of the tasks or roles assigned.
Moreover, there are still some technical glitches just in case of few bots which led
to controversies of promoting racial discrimination by writing remarks on the colour of an
individual and sparked an outburst worldwide. Hereby, one must be vary of this under-
developing state that could never match up to a human being's brain. It has also given
insights on the addiction of such use of advanced machines or bots that have
disapproved the efficiency and have led the attention towards the negative effects on
the health. Humans have become lazy and overly depended on their utility and has
accelerated several dangerous situations like unwarranted diseases like diabetes,
obesity that have no accountability left to control it.
In addition to this, the quantum computing has also been exploited in adverse
order that has led to many landmark innovations but has owned a pool of multiple
neural networks and its related complexities. It has maintained a deep learning that has
been used in pessimistic way, leading to losses rather than using it for few purposes like
storing and computing power. The quantum computing has dealt with enhancing the
speed by boosting the performance to identify and remove the obstacles in a
sustainable component(Siau and Wang, 2018). However, this sustainability approach
has been proved as a farce as it has posed a great threat to the humanity. There was
also building of a good deal of software which must undergo regular upgradation
processes for restoring the time consumption with respect to the ever changing
environment of scenarios in the surroundings worldwide. This would then be prove
beneficial to combat the risks associated with costs.
Nonetheless, with rise of government interventions and globalisation led MNC's
and other corporations to work in a framework, it has put additional burden on the
compromising situational crisis of personal information due to accessibility through big
data analytics. It is intriguing concept that with discoveries like driverless cars, nursing

virtual assistants, use of robots for doing tasks etc. would not affect the humans abilities
of doing jobs. This have formed systems with massive consequences in context to the
super-intelligence. In accordance with the same, there are also a huge array of ethical
implications attached with it. The sudden potential seen through the identification and
execution with designing of AI tools has led to unintended results which cannot be
foreseen before employing it and thus, it leads to uncontrollable interaction between the
behaviour of individual and security of AI systems. Moreover, it brings wealth
inequalities to accrue the entrepreneurial risks for disaster management that immensely
affect the unequal participation for generation of revenues and monetary gains (Jia and
et.al., 2018). Additionally, it lays a comprehension on eliminating the partial treatment
and the bias aspects in these tools that have been nullifying the viability of these
humans' creation. With the adoption of ethical approaches, it is clearly indicated that
significance of these tools have led a tremendous amount of burden on the entire
mankind in a more risky order. People are become evasive and self centred and do not
hold the empathy emotion well. Meanwhile, there are few burning issues that have
triggered the perpetual utilisation of machines in more advanced manner such as
autonomous weapons and development of few innovative projects that are pilot base.
Therefore, there are security concerns in relation to potential dangers that can affect the
humans in most threatening manner.
Therefore, the employment of artificial intelligence is still in progress as there are
constant collaborations between the government and large organizations and their
analysis in adopting these AI discoveries for the betterment and well being of entire
population. Along with, to survive the competitive advantages in the markets have led to
AI tools to exploit the supplementary benefits at widespread scale. In addition, there is
an equal scope of formation of either a utopian or dystopian future through artificial
intelligence (Liu and et.al., 2018). There is a leap of acknowledgement of its presence in
almost all economies along with societies and is going to play a crucial role in aiding to
the future of humanity. However, there are slight chances of moving towards the
pessimistic mode but with presence of strong ethics and moral values, a utopian society
might play in the positive side of humans that rapidly entered the lives and brought

radical modifications. Henceforth, its fruitful in all the aspects up until now with hopes for
better future.

It has been summarized that inclusion of artificial intelligence and its tools has
produced a momentum in exponential manner and led to more benefits than drawbacks.
However, it also led to eye opening revelations that sparked argumentative discussions
at global levels about the emergence of using artificial intelligence tools in our lives.
Along with, it shed light on the losing out on the emotional sides of being human in the
most dangerous manner. It has also added the woes of leading a dystopian culture in
our society that shows the brutal approachability in generating the capitalist emotion
devoid of any security or feelings. Lastly, there are many developmental projects that
are in undergoing stage, however, there are still some demonstration of unrest and
dilemmas about the dependability on AI on the whole.
