INTRODUCTIONBREXIT stands for “British Exit” referring to the decision made by United Kingdom toleave European Union in referendum on 23rd June 2016. The result of voting defied theexpectations and roiled the international markets affecting British Pound to fall to its lowest levelagainst the dollar in 30 years. In this context, the report will focus on impact of BREXIT on thenational as well as market economy. An investigation will be made in order to analyse howBREXIT is branding the UK as foreign direct investment destination. Eventually,recommendations will be provided in the report that aid in enhancing the foreign directinvestment in the country efficiently. About BREXITA referendum was passed in which everyone or nearly everyone has attained the voting age hastaken part in voting held on 23rd June 2016. Out of total votes, 51.9 per cent of voters prefer toleave as compared to 48.1 per cent of voters who prefer to stay (Brakman, Garretsen and Kohl,2018). Below is the graph that demonstrates about how many voters voted from differentcountries of United Kingdom:Types of BREXIT deal the UK will getAccording to Greenwood, (2018) the UK will accept a financial settlement involvingpayments amounting to something close to 50 billion euros. The transaction affirms sufficientprogress has been made on the terms of separation, paving the way for talks on transition andfuture relations.
