INTRODUCTION
Information technology refers to use of systems such as computers and
telecommunications in order to store, retrieve and sending the information whereas cloud
computing is the practice that uses the online server and web browsers hosted on the internet web
page (Botta and et. al., 2016). This helps to manage, stored and procedure information instead
than on a computer or a general hostile network.
The Project report will outline the “Impact of cloud computing on the businesses in
providing their services in the current business environment”. Assignment will discuss the cloud
computing, cloud storage and different types of cloud with their suitability in the current
companies. Furthermore, report will explain the difference between privacy and security. Lastly
report will provide conclusion.
MAIN BODY
Cloud computing
It refers to the internet phase that helps in storing, retrieving and manipulation of data.
Therefore, this includes server and applications that delivers the information and data on
company's computer system and devices. It uses the hardware and software to deliver the
services over a network (Brand and Networks Ltd, 2016). It is type of model that enables
omnipresent, convenient and provide network access. Henceforth, this helps to develop the cloud
that enables the users in order to get applicants to the market more quickly. It uses remote
resources and saves the organisations costs of servers and other equipments.
Companies like Amazon and Microsoft are using Cloud Computing to discover the new
apps and services. It helps to speedily build, position and the standard applications of computer
software. It helps to access the mobile platform. It helps to meet performance, safety and
conformity with the necessitate. It helps to test and build the applications. It helps in storing,
back up the data and in recovering the data. It helps to analysis the data across the squad,
departments and locations in the cloud. The Microsoft is using the data to stream audio and
videos. These devices are using high definition videos and audio with the global distribution
network. Its software like SaaS is on demand because it uses the latest software versions and
updates around the clients versions and also triggers around the customers.

Cloud storage
It refers to the service model in which data is managed, maintain and backed up
automatically and available to the clients. Data is stored across global centres with multiple
regions and continents. It is remote physical location in which data is stored and it evolves
clients servers which maintains through cloud provider instead of hard drives. It facilitates the
user to store their files online (Brand, CTERA Networks Ltd, 2017). It accesses them to any
location through internet servers. In this data is remotely maintained and backed up. the recent
survey is conducted with plenty of 800 businesses all over the world. The companies like
Amazon and Microsoft are gaining the high advantage through these networks. The public cloud
services make is predicted to exceed $244 billion in order to take competitive edge.
Different types of cloud and their suitability
 Public Cloud - It is owned and run by the 3rd party cloud service supplier that present
the computing sources such as servers and storage. Microsoft Azure is the best example
of the public Cloud (Hashem and et. al., 2015). It supports for infrastructure that is owned
and managed through cloud providers. It gives access to services and helps in managing
the web browsers.
 Private Cloud - It is cloud that refers to the cloud computing and used excursively
through individual company like Amazon and Microsoft. The private cloud could be
physically located in the company's information area. The companies are paying 3rd
party work to the hostile physical phenomenon. It is the dealers and manufacturers which
uses the private network to protect their data from the hackers.
 Hybrid Cloud - It combined mixture of private and public cloud data drive services. The
hybrid cloud conjugate jointly through technologies that supports data and applications.
The cloud accesses the data and applications to do movement between the private and
public clouds (Rittinghouse and Ransome 2016). The hybrid clouds give the business of
Microsoft a greater flexibility. It has more deployed options which helps to optimise the
existent safety, structure and abidance.
Types of Cloud services

Infrastructure as a service (IaaS) - This refers to elementary class of cloud technology work.
Through it servers and practical device stored and operative form a cloud providers on the pay go
basis.
Platform as a service (PaaS) - It is the platform of service that demand on supply situation in
order to develop, experiment, creating and arranging the computer software programs. It is
planned to sort easier for the creator in order to quickly create the web browsers and apps.
Software as a service (Saas) - It refers to methodology that delivers various computer software
systems through web browser on internet. It is atypically subscribes the footing of internet
server. (Lemmey and Vonog, Lens Ventures LLC, 2018). The clouds suppliers are hostile and
managed the applications of computers that have identified structure. It upkeep the software
upgrades and repair security.
Server less computing - It focuses on functionality through spending the time through
continuously managed the servers that infrastructure requires. It setup the capacity planning
through server management.
Difference between privacy and security and how cloud can be secured
These are two important aspect which deals with the data confidentiality in the cloud
computing. In today's technological world, cybersecurity is becoming one of the important
concern for many business organizations. Therefore, The Security is concerned with the
safeguarding the data and providing the security to the data of the user (What is the difference
between security and privacy?, 2019). Security refers to the protection of the data and
information against the unauthorised access to the users. On the other hand, Privacy means to
the safeguarding the recognition of the user. Privacy ensures the security of the identity of the
user which cannot be revealed to others.

Cloud can be secured in this way -
 Ensure Local Backup - In the information technology sector, information is considered as
everything. This contains important and private data of the firms. Thus, the firms should
ensure the local backup in order to take their security measures more quickly.
 Strong Sensitive information - The companies stored the data on their servers and their
sensitivity decisions are top concerns of these firms (Prahlad and et. al., 2016).
 Use Encryption - It refers to the data that took excellent precaution against the threat and
in-front of the unwanted hackers. The companies can use additional layer of security.

CONCLUSION
It has been concluded from the above project report that cloud computing refers to a
practice that uses web system of distant servers hosted on the internet server. It is summarized
that cloud storage is an internet platform on which data is stored and it involves clients servers
which maintains through cloud provider instead of hardware or drives.
This has been summarised that there are three types of cloud computing namely, Public
cloud, Private cloud and Hybrid cloud. It had been evaluated that Cloud computing sets an online
platform where data and information of companies are stored. Companies like Microsoft and
amazon are using Cloud computing.
Therefore, it has determined that security refers to safeguarding the information and data
flow at the cloud technology whereas privacy protects the identification of the users that prevents
the criminal activities.
