As a result, users will update positive feedbacks on the pages of XYZ Company.For this study, digital scent technology practices play a significant role to change the emotionof people and make a positive comment from them. RESEARCH DESIGNChapter 2: Literature ReviewIntroductionThe literature review chapter is helpful for the researchers to create a depth understanding ofthe research subject through investigating of current literature in an appropriate manner. Atthe same time, an efficient literature review involves data evaluation of many articles, books,and journals, which is supportive to make an effective literature. Additionally, it also helps tocreate a conceptual understating towards the research problem. It also demonstrates thedifferent aspects of digital scent technology (Neuman, et al., 2014).Moreover, it alsoidentifies the impact of digital scent technology on the business performance. This part alsodiscovers the strategies to decline the challenges faced by the users in implementing thedigital scent technology (Panneerselvam, 2014).To explore the meaning and concept of digital scent technologyDatta et al. (2016) stated that the digital scent technology enabled the users to digitally sense,reproduce, transmit, smells, fragrances, and recapture by using the internet. It is stated that in future users willnot only able to see the information but also able to smell things from the application ofinternet (Ranasinghe, et al., 2014).To identify the impact of digital scent technology on alteration of people emotions: incontext of XYZ companyAccording to the Ferrari et al., (2013), digital scent technology has a positive impact onalteration of people emotions because it has distinct features as compared to othertechnology. Because digital scent technology does not workappropriately in case users are suffering from health illness. It is also stated that the scent isperceived by different sensory cells that mainly exist in a cavity through e-nose. At the sametime, the memo is activated to the mind and then these cells discover the smell of scent.
