1. Introduction
Digital technology is the type of technology that eventually completes better
processing and uses of all types of digitalized data and information by considering few
significant devices. The major and the most popular types of digital technology devices that
can store data in a better manner involve calculators, controllers of traffic light, personal
computers, compacted disc players, automobiles and various others (Arts, van der Wal and
Adams 2015). The report provides an effective analysis of the entire effect for digital
technology in respect to few of the significant styles of management and leadership for the
Finance, Marketing and Restaurant Managers of Hazev, Haz and Tas. Some of the core
theories of classical management as well as styles of leadership will be involved in this report
for knowing about the proper analysis of each of the three mentioned managers.
2. Discussion
2.1 Assessment of the Several Theories of Management
The major theories of management that refer to better management of staff are
described below:
i) Weber’s Bureaucratic Management Theory: As per this management theory, the
most significant system of bureaucratic is being created after inclusion of basic regulations
and rules, promotion of staff, keeping of records and documentations on the basis of the
respective professional skills (Tschannen-Moran 2014).
ii) Mayo’s Management Theory of Human Relations: As per this particular theory of
management, the several social and psychological factors are quite significant for creation of
popular productive companies as well as employees are being easily motivated by giving
attention and not by money.
iii) McGregor’s Theory X and Y: This significant theory X states that the managers
have assumed that staff dislike their works, although as per theory Y, manager believes that
staff are completely self motivated, committed and responsible.
2.2 Understanding the Role of any Leader and Several Types of Leadership
Any leader could be defined as the person, who has the responsibility to lead and
command any organization, country and group. The most significant and vital roles of a
leader majorly include proper making understand and even understanding regarding various
team objectives and goals (Wren 2013). The ensuring of a proper goal execution, aligning

with the team members and even envisioning of every team member are the significant roles
and responsibilities of any leader.
Several leadership styles in any business are described below:
i) Participative Style of Leadership: This kind of leadership style ensures that every
team member gets a fair chance to chain his or her input and idea for betterment of decisions
in the team.
ii) Transformation Style of Leadership: In this specific leadership style of
transformational, the specific leader is being responsible to create a major vision for the team
members and even shares his team vision (Johnson 2017).
iii) Transactional Style of Leadership: In this style of leadership, both punishments
and rewards are involved to ensure an effective employee performance and significant
negotiations.
2.3 Proper Review of the Various Different Styles of Management and Leadership
followed in Hazev, Haz and Tas Chains of Restaurant
After properly reviewing and analysing the recorded interviews of the Finance,
Marketing and Restaurant Managers of Hazev, Haz and Tas chains of restaurant, it was
observed that each of the three managers have successfully deployed digitalized technology
within the business and they are eventually managing the employees and staff without much
complexity (McDonald 2013). In chain of restaurant of Hazev, the respective finance
manager has been following Theory X and Theory Y management theory for knowing about
the staff of his business. Regarding leadership, he is following style of transactional
leadership and hence provides direction for fulfilling the goals. For Haz, the respective
marketing manager has been following management theory of bureaucratic. There is a
subsequent command chain that starts from senior authorities for ensuring that perfect rules
and regulations are eventually being maintained. Regarding leadership, he is following the
style of participative or democratic leadership. In the chain of restaurant of Tas, the
respective restaurant manager has been following the management theory of human relations
and he subsequently tries to motivate his staff with various social factors (Antonakis and
House 2013). Regarding leadership, he is following the style of transformational and thus the
several weaknesses and strengths are being identified.

2.4 Significant Effect of the Digital Technology on both External and Internal
Management Styles
The digitalized technology comprises of a stronger effect over the external and
internal management styles. It, apart from having subsequent impact on business operations
and processes, even is needed to eventually change the styles of leadership and management
(Nakamura and Chow-White 2013). In the restaurant chains of Hazev, Haz and Tas, the
respective internal management styles could be either strategic or democratic and the external
management styles could be either situational or autocratic in nature. These two distinctive
styles of internal and external management are majorly impacted with digitalized technology.
The styles are majorly impacted by all internal factors like organizational policies, structures
of management and employee motivation as well as external factors like economy growth,
customer satisfaction and impact of competitors (Gu, Zhu and Guo 2013). It is majorly for
the fact that these capabilities of internal and external could be affected or even supported
and the experience of customers is substantially enhanced. It results in better performance of
staff.
3. Conclusion
Hence, conclusion could be easily drawn that the most significant impact of the digital
technology in respect to the several styles of leadership and management for any specific
leader is required to bring subsequent enhancement of business. Docklands Academy in

and important chains of the service sector or restaurant, called Hazev, Haz and Tas. Each of
these restaurant chains have included more than 21 beverages and food and recently the

technology for making their business process and staff management every better in
comparison to others. This report has properly described about the management and
leadership styles of these three managers with details.
