Introduction
The purpose of the essay is to discuss the different ways and processes by which the use
of e technologies has changed the modern and social life of people. However, there are certain
risks associated with the use of e technologies that were needed to be addressed. It is seen that
the suppliers of e technologies have sought to overcome the risks and threats associated with the
use of e technologies over the years. Technology has brought a welcoming change in the
business process over the years. In the past years, the progress in terms of technological
advancements has been quite significant. Internet can be considered as the most significant need
of technological advancements. Internet and technology has completely changed the way people
communicate with each other thus affecting the social life of people in a positive or in a negative
way. Furthermore, with the use of internet, people have knowledge about each and everything
happening across the world (Bharadwaj et al. 2013). This has a positive effect on the business as
well since majority of the business do not need to depend on geographical location for profits.
Internet and technology have made it possible to target not only the local audiences but also the
global audiences as well. However, there are certain risks associated with e technologies which
the suppliers of the technology have overcome over the years.

E technology or electronic technology includes the use of internet and its associated
information technologies that make the life of an individual easier. E-technology as a whole
covers a diverse range of Information technology services that includes ICT. E technology
provides assistance to business and organizational activities thus influencing the modern social
life of people (Jansen 2017). This impact or influence can be positive or negative depending on

internet has a huge role in successful operation of e technology as it is the backbone of e

behaviour of the individuals which is beneficial for business progress. Although setting up of e
technology is expensive, e technology is able to solve the operational issues in the business and
increases the productivity (Nanehkaran 2013). Therefore it can be said that e technology has a
positive impact on the business of an organization.
