INTRODUCTION
Depression refers to mental disorder which is there called as mood disorder. It can also be
said as the feeling such as sadness, anger, loss or many more which are the re in the person in
their daily basis life activities. In this there are many disorders which are there can lead different
physical and emotional problems. There is loss in interest in the individual which can lead to the
feeling of to leave the place or life which may cause the loss of life. Along with this there are
many causes which leads to the depression from which some of them is going to be discussed.
There is some of the description and critique which are there to improve the mental health along
with well being. Depression is the one which is there can get in any age group like children,
adolescence, adults, old age people or men or women along with patients which are having long
term health issues in there. It can also causes in the lower income group or prisoners workers and
with many more which is due to having lots of cause which are going to be discuses further in
this report (Piersol and et. al., 2017).

health. In this workload culture, it is crucial to have good health and fitness so that it is easy to
focus on current ongoing activities. Many health practitioners are present who assist in
improving health as well as promoting of fitness activities at global scale. Also, it is seen that it
is necessary to have reliable strategies on basis of which appropriate solutions are presented.
There are different types of mental health interventions so like mindfulness based cognitive
based therapy, solution focused brief therapy schema focused therapy,interpersonal
psychotherapy etc. It is essential to uses these therapy so that it is easier to overcome with such
mental health problems. Interventions are required to be adopted on basis of which correct type
of suggestions are promoted. It is often seen that in community and societies, mental health does
get affected at larger scale (Siegel and et. Al 2017). Society is one which can also be responsible
for the depression in the teenagers. Which is like many expectations from the teenagers which

leads to pressure which creates the mental pressure and causes depression in teenagers. There are
many pressure which teenagers get form the society or for being social with everyone in which
they need to be better enough for the comparison with other one which creates frustration,
depression along with anxiety. Such type of problems which are associated with one of the big
reason behind depression. Mental illness refers to the health conditions which are involving
changes in thinking, behaviour or emotions. This be cause by any reason such as family problem,
stress of social life either in workplace or in society which are due to different activities.

Whenever either own-self or others feels that there is some issue which is associated with
the mental health of individual then its time to have some of the interventions. This can be
beneficial when it starts in the initial time otherwise there can be late in terms of finding and sign
or symptoms which can experience psychological damage for longer period of time. There are
some of the expectations which should be there during the intervention for the well being of the
individuals or your loving ones. There comes difficulty to finding out the symptoms due to
overlapping of the disorders. This is the one where your loving one is not accepting the problem
which is with them and also they are not ready for the formal diagnosis (Heber and et. al., 2016).
They can also quit their previous treatments which they are taking and can think that they don't
need it any-more. There should be a well trained professionals which need to supervise the
interventions. So, it can be recommanded that there is need of supervision of well trained
facilitator. Mental health are the one which can help one form the trauma, tragedy or form any
psychiatric disorder. Mental health intervention team can be consisting of many experts such as
therapist, psychiatrist, psychologist or social worker. These all are having the goal for intervene

treatment and theories, in which there are multiple people in the family which are there getting

et. al., 2017). In many cases, it is seen that most of the mental health problems are solved by
family interventions.
Crisis intervention- This is the one which needs to be there due to having the chances
which is becoming danger for the himself or to others. So, such type of intervention neds to be
there for ensuring the safety of everyone as per situation. This is the situation where the
depressed patient wants to get suicide or to harm someone which is not good either for the family
or for himself.
Evidence based mental health intervention
These are the programmes and practices which are having the documented, peer-review
and the empirical evidence of effectiveness.
Mindfulness-based cognitive therapy- These are the one which can help to them who are

There are many cause which are there for the depression in the teenage on which there
are some of them are described which are most important causes and can be the crises for the
life. There are one of the biggest reason for the depression is the society where there are different
expectation are there from the teenagers and pressure is given to them and the person which is
here a teenager, is not able to full fill such expectation which leads to the humiliation form the
society or their known ones. This causes depression in one (Geraei and et. al., 2018).
Emotional changes- These are some of the cause for depression in teenagers.
Sad felling which is having due to many reasons like not getting attention by their pears
or parents this is the one which affects the most to the teenagers which are getting highly

High sensitivity about rejection or any failure is the one which is very common in the

be resolved when elder treat well even when teen get failure in their area. They need to motivate
them for getting them pass or clear in such area where they failed this time.
Frequent thought regarding the dying, suicide or death this is the one which comes in
teenage mind due to many reasons which can be due to seeing some of television seen of pictures
which lead them to thought of death and causes the depression in them. This can be finished by
interacting with them in constant manner which will not let them force for thinking about it.
Behavioural changes- There are some of the behavioural changes which are there for the
cause of depression. Some of them are described further (Jancic and et. al., 2016).
Loss of energy or tiredness can make them feel restless which can leads to the first stage
of depression which is overthinking on any topic. So, this can be one of the cause of depression.
This can be full filled by motivating them by different techniques like assigning some task which
is related with their type of interest etc.
Sleeping too much also known as Insomnia which can be the cause of thinking too much
which is related with thinking about random things and the perceptions which are not related
with them. This can be finished by assigning some work or creating some fun fest which seems
to be very interesting for the teenagers which can help them out from thinking hypothetical
things.
Weight gain or weight loss is one of the cause for the depression because in this time
teenager are very conscious about their physical appearances which creates lack of motivation in
them. This can be managed by help them in maintain proper guidance which is related with
health (Heiden‐Rootes 2019)..
Highly use of alcohol or drugs can be the cause of depression which is due to their
chemical activity which creates excitement with little dose and with higher dose causes
depression but this is for short period of time but can be dangerous or cause long term depression
when there is high intake of alcohol or drugs.

Slow thinking, body movement or speaking, isolate form the society show the chances of
depressions which is due to not getting normal life style which can be cause of the depression.
One can help them by providing proper care to increase their influences for getting equality in
the society.
Making suicidal plan or attempt is the one in which person due to having some
depression and are not able to find the way through which he can get over it (Marshall and et. al.,
2017).
