communities and manage the health, physical and social well
being of the patient. The PPT presentation is made for
understanding the policies , legislation , regulations and code
of practices being followed in healthcare organizations like
East & West Care Homes and their impact on professionals
and users of healthcare services.

There are many policies and procedures which are being followed by the
healthcare organizations like the East and West care homes. As per the given
scenario a report was given by CQC which states there are many prevalent
concerns in this organizations as mentioned below.
• Complaints from locals about the quality of care provided by East and West
Care Homes and Waltham Care homes.
• Insufficient knowledge in clinical care standards and protocols
• Inadequate supervision
• Mistreatments with the elderly residents
• Unsafe practices from the staff members of East and west Care homes
