What are the different ways through which negative impact of multinational organisation
e.g. Waitrose on business environment of Morocco can be overcome easily?
Objectives- The major objectives of this research are mentioned below
To analyse the impact of operations of Waitrose on employment
To assess the views of Waitrose customers on the impact of company's activities
To provide recommendation to Waitrose
Project management plan covering cost, scope, quality, etc.
Project management plan is the document which is prepared for proper implementation
and execution of the work of the project. It is also used for analysing and defining the various
stages of the project. This is usually done to compete the activities of the in the desirable and
appropriate manner. As with the assistance of this plan the investigator will be able to work in a
systematic manner because the chances of duplication and error will be reduced(Curlee and
Gordon, 2011). The project management plan also helps in findings appropriate solution to the
problem and the results or outcome from this plan will be more accurate and reliable. Project
management plan consist of the cost, time, quality, etc. The following terms are briefly discussed
below-
Cost- Cost is considered as one of the most important aspect for completing the task and
activities in the systematic manner. As without the estimation of cost a research may not
be carried out in a proper manner. This will directly help the management in calculating
the amount which will be used for competing the research and for achieving the desired
information related to the research topic. If better plans are made regarding the use of
cost and financial resources than the manager of Waitrose will be able to achieve the long
term and short objectives related to the business environment in Morocco. The cost plan
for this research project will cover both fixed and variable cost. The estimated cost for
this project is 45000 pound whereas the researcher has demanded approximately 10000
pound for competing this project in the prescribed time frame (Floricel and et. al., 2014).
This cost is decided by researcher for carrying out the research by taking the interviews
through travelling to other location.
Scope- The major scope behind carrying this research is to know the answers to the
research problem and to take necessary steps for the managing the business environment
in Morocco. In this the type of research the scope is divided into two broad categories

Scope- The major scope behind carrying this research is to know the answers to the
research problem and to take necessary steps for the managing the business environment
in Morocco. In this the type of research the scope is divided into two broad categories

which are scope for the researcher and scope of the project. Scope of the project is to
know the significance and impact of social, economic and environmental factor on the
working of particular country. Whereas the researcher will be able to enhance its skills
and knowledge(Gharajedaghi, 2011 ).
Time- Deciding the time period for the research project is very much essential because if
proper time frame is not decided than the each and every activities of the research will
not be completed in the desirable manner. Insufficient time period will lead to
mismanagement in the activities and operations of the research. The manager of Waitrose
will require minimum 12 months for identifying and managing the impact of organisation
on business environment of hot country. In this each activity will be given equal time so
that proper results are drawn out(Hopkinson, M., 2017).
Quality- Quality in this can be measured and evaluated by the type of tools and
techniques used by the management of the organisation for achieving the goals and
objectives of the research. If appropriate method will be used by the organisation than the
major objective will be easily achievable. So in this research qualitative research method
will be used by the researcher(Irani, 2010). As by using this method each and every task
will be done in the systematic and appropriate manner. It is very much essential for
Waitrose to know the factors affecting the business environment of the particular country.
Communication- Communicating the research activities will directly lead to making
proper conclusion on the research topic. In the absence of this factor the members of the
team will not be able to share any vital information related to the research topic. This
may also lead to miscommunication among the researcher and other team members. So
the research team of Waitrose can use various communication methods such as video
conferencing, email, etc. to transfer and manage the research work. Researcher in this
will make use of messages and SMS for gathering information from the
respondents(Sikdar and Payyazhi, 2014).
Risk – There is high degree of risk and uncertainty involved in this type of research. As
the researcher faces various types of risk while executing the activities of the research.
The various types of risk faced are limited availability of resources and lack of
knowledge in the particular field. To overcome the problem of risk researcher will make
know the significance and impact of social, economic and environmental factor on the
working of particular country. Whereas the researcher will be able to enhance its skills
and knowledge(Gharajedaghi, 2011 ).

market(Kerzner and Kerzner,2017).
Resources- These are the various things required for competing the research work. The
resources in this will include the human, capital and technological resource. The
researcher of Waitrose will require latest tool and technology for completing the task in
the desirable manner. So it will be essential for the research to make the best use of the
available resource in order to decrease the wastage and error in the research work.
Work Break-down structure and Gantt chart.
Work break-down structure- It is the breaking the parts and activities of the project in
to simple and smeller components. With the help of this structure each and every work of the
project is easily manageable by the researcher(Kujala, Nystén-Haarala and Nuottila, 2015). This

Gantt chart- This type of bar chart helps in representing the schedule of the project in
the systematic and structured manner. In this type of chart every activity related to the project
will be done in the pre-decided time frame(Larson and Gray, 2017). Gantt chart deals in the total
tenure of the project which means it usually covers the staring and end point of the project. By
using this the manager of Waitrose can easily monitor and manage the research work for
achieving desirable outcome.

TASK 2
Small scale research by using qualitative and quantitative research method.
Small scale research- It is the comprehensive guide used by the students for completing
the projects or thesis. This type research help in identifying the strength and weakness of the
project. By using this method the time and resources of the researcher will be saved as optimum
use of resources will be done(Thyer, 2010). The results and conclusion from this type of method
will be more accurate and valid because findings will be drawn in short period of time. The small
scale research is further divided into two parts which are mentioned below-
Qualitative research- This method generally guides the researcher in solving the
problem by using statistical data. With the assistance of this qualitative research method better
interpretation and presentation of the numerical data can be done. The data in this will be
collected with the help of personal interviews, observation and survey. The data in this can be
gathered by observing the behaviour of the respondents(Meredith and Mantel, 2011). This
method is also of two types which are-
Primary research- In this the data is directly collected from the respondents with the
help of questionnaires. This method is used to know the exact answers to the problem which is
not known to the researcher. The data in this will be fresh and first hand this means the data will
not be used in any other research. Questionnaire will be prepared by the researcher in order to
gather accurate data from the respondents.
Secondary research- This method is generally used to save the time and cost of the
researcher. This is because in this the data can be gathered from some other sources or from
other researches. The data in this will be collected from various book, journals, websites and
newspapers(Năftănăilă, 2012).

analysing the data.
Secondary data: This type of data is collected through the online sources such as internet,
newspapers, books etc. This type of data is considered as unreliable as the data is not confirmed
by any real persons. Qualitative techniques are used for analysing such type of data as a large
amount of data is collected which is analysed by using the statistical information.
The data in this will be collected from stakeholders and individuals by using
questionnaire. This will be done to know their views and opinion regarding the research topic.
The data is collected through the primary data sources due to which valid information is obtained
which will be analysed properly. However, this data collection method is costly and time
consuming which can impact the execution of the project.
Sample Size- The data in this research will be collected from 40 respondents with the
help of set of questionnaire.
