INTRODUCTIONToday there are many number of the disabled person in the society of united kingdom.The disabled persons are not able to do work as efficient as normal people. So to take care ofthem, there are many health and social care home so that there can be positive atmosphere forthe learning disabled (Balcazar,Lee and Hernandez,2011). The health and social care home canimplement the changes in them policies and procedures in which some important factor play avital role in delivering services of the care home. In the following report the changes in thehealth and care home as mentioned in the case of local actions for the disabled will be discussand how to mange them for smooth working of the care home when it will be shifted from the care home into supported living .Thereare some challenges which can arise by implementing changes in the health ans social care homeand to deal with these challenges there are some crucial strategies that can be adapted by themanger of the local action for the disabled.TASK 1P1.1Key factors that drive change in health and social care servicesThe health and social care services play a vital role in the betterment of the society. Localaction of the disabled is a crucial helper of the disable people related to learning,.It is aresidential care home and other services for the people of the society in united kingdom. As amanager of the care home, Denise has to consider some important factors which can affect thechange in the he,lath and social care services,.These factors are political factors, political factorsand legal factors. Followings are the explanations of these factors.1.Political factors For any health and care home like local action of the disabled, politicalscenario is the main factor which drives the change skin the services of the health andsocial care home. The government of the county can change completely the services ofthe health and social care home as it make policies and procedures (Battilana,2011).

These government policies and procedures are to be followed by every single care home.As thinking about converting the care home into supported living the government policiesmust be considered.2.Legal factors The law and is a an essential part of the health and social care home likelocal action of the disabled. The regulations and rules implied by the legal authoritieshave to be followed by the health and social care home. If the legal rules are strictlyfocus on the quality of the services to the residents then the care home must maintainand improve the quality of the services (Bessell,2011) .On the other hand, kif the legalregulation has the main purpose of hygiene for the patients then the care home must lookfor cleaning gin the care home rather than the healthy and positive environment for theresidents.3.Technological factors In the modern time the technology plays an important role in thedelivery of the health and social care services. If there are modern technical machinesand equipments for the treatment of the critical disabled then it Wil ease the servicesdelivery to the residents. On the other hand , if the health and social care home like localaction of the disabled uses the old and traditional technology to treat the residents thenthere will be difficulty in recovering of the critically disabled persons. Thus there aremany factors which affect the services of the health ans social care homer in a negativeway as well as positive way. P1.2 The challenges that key factors of change bring to health and social care servicesThe health and social care home like local action for the disabled might have somechallenges due to the change in the health ans social car service. These challenges can createdifficulty in accessing the process of treatment of the residents. The challenges can also includethe health issue of the residents, implementing the changed policies and handling the negativeeffect of the changes procedure in the care home (Chreim,Williams andDastmalchian,2010).After considering the key factor of the change in health and social careservices, there might some challenges in from of the care home which can hinder the smoothprocess of the working the local actions for the disabled.
