Introduction:
Autonomous cars are considered to be the type of vehicles that are mainly driven by the
modern digital technologies in collaboration to Artificial Intelligence (AI) or Machine learning
(ML).The self-driving cars are regarded as the type of self-automated vehicles that are capable
enough of navigating themselves while driving on road and is designed in such a way that they
occupy less space on roads. The knowledge of self-driving cars has attracted the human
imagination since the 1930s till it was decided in the 2020s to out the cars on the streets of some
of the major cities in US. By the recent ages the idea of self-driving cars is advancing in a rapid
way where it is concerned with only a matter of time. For a self-driving car, it is very much
important to have an efficient artificial intelligence system that would help in sensing the
surrounding incidents while processing visual data so as to determine the presence of any type of
collision, determining the operation of the machineries of the car including operation of its
brakes, steering and making use of the GPS to track the location and destination of the cars. In
direction to perceive the visual surroundings, the self-driving cars are also equipped with the
combined system of video cameras, lidar and radar (Bojarski et al., 2016). The AI present within
the self-driving cars helps in synthesizing while analyzing the unexpected block of obstacles that
comes in its way. Thus, autonomous cars are defined as the type of vehicles that are guided by
themselves and does not require any kind of human involvement. The concept of autonomous car
has become the concrete reality while it has caused huge adoption within the future systems
where computers are gradually taking over the traditional way of driving. The field of
autonomous car vehicles is a part of interest for many of the researchers as it helps in
accomplishing various areas of automated technology representing their past, present and future.
A radical change within the automated skill of autonomous cars are being reflected since 1920s
