The strength that we would like to begin with for us SF assessment isRestorative.Restorative means the ability of a person to bounce back when faced with a problem.I chose this strength because a restorative person loves to solve problems and challenges and ourlives are full of those. A breakdown will not pull me down because of my restorative nature ratherit will give me the energy and strength to bounce back from it, a stronger person. This makes me stand out because of my ability to tackle challenges and fix and improve things. Iam the person you want around when faced with a crisis. I remember once a colleague fainted outof sheer exhaustion, in the humdrum of panic where my fellow colleagues contemplated on calling911 or taking her to the nearby clinic I had the good sense of simply sprinkling some water on herface to revive her and restoring her strength by offering her a glucose drink.Strength – Restorative – An unreasonable action planWhat will I do?When will I do it?How will I prove that I havecompleted the task?Attend a workshop on crisismanagementAs soon as possibleI attended the workshop andfeel that I can tackle any crisisRead a book on crisismanagementVery soonCompleted the book on timeAttended a training campImmediatelyCompleted the trainingStrength – Restorative – Reasonable action planWhat will I do?When will I do it?How will I prove that I havecompleted the task?Attended a workshop on crisismanagement organized by thehospital where I practice. The workshop took place onthe pre-valentine weekend.I attended the workshop withmy colleagues and received acertificate of attendance at theend.Read a book on crisismanagement: planning for theinevitable by Steven FinkOrdered it on amazon today, itshould be delivered shortly.I plan to review the book andput its view into practice formy reading club members.
