Impact of the exploitation of the Aquatic animals in Atlantic Canada
Abstract:-

Climate change alters the habitats for marine fishes and their food production. By
adopting the fishery management programs, we can improve the productivity
change in the oceans of Canada. Effect on the Marine ecosystems due to climate
change can be seen in the primary production, species distributions, and the
temperature of the sea, which can change the function and structure of the marine
ecosystem. In the study, we are going to argue on the exploitation impact of the
Aquatic animal and what is the effect of climate change on the Canadian ocean. The
main point is to analyze the impact of climate change on the ocean and marine
ecosystem and further plan to reduce the exploitation of aquatic animals.
1. Introduction:-
Knowledge of the marine environment is important to analyze the global impact on
the Canada Oceans. The Pacific, Arctic, and Atlantic oceans provide support to
Canada. Every Canadian has a deep relationship with marine ecosystems. These
oceans give natural resources. Change in the ecosystem occurs due to the variation
of nutrient cycling, biodiversity, and global climate. The marine ecosystem is
combined with the chemical and physical environmental conditions which relate to
the living organisms. Variation in the ecosystem affects the tiny plankton to giant
whales of the ocean. The impact of climate change and human activities has
adverse effect on the health of Aquatic animals.
2. Cause of exploitation the Aquatic animals:-
The ocean ecosystem experienced unprecedented change in the world. Change in
the food web structure influence the species interactions, which declines the
abundance in the Aquatic animals (HUTCHINGS & REYNOLDS, 2004). The Ocean
system is influenced by human activities and natural processes, which affect
resources, fishing, and coastal development (Bonan & Doney, 2018). Physical
environment change directly affects the effective growth rate and indirectly affects
the food web. Ecosystems are experiencing rapid change in the biological and
physical components at variable frequency. Climate change is an essential factor in
the Shift in the ecosystem. At the tropical level, Shift in the Species distribution can
be observed. Over the last century, aquatic animal populations in the Atlantic were

heavily over-exploited, and an abundance of marine mammals increasing (Bernier,
Jamieson and Moore 2020).
3.Overview of the Biographical: - The Atlantic water of Canada is divided into
various biographical units: Labrador Shelves, the Gulf of St. Lawrence and the
Scotian Shelf. Each part of the Atlantic has a distinct variation in the ecological
structure.
