INTRODUCTION
Impact of alcoholism or excessive use of alcohol on aboriginal and Torres Strain
Islanders is immense Gray & et.al., (2018). This study is going to show impacts of violence
which are increasing due to excessive consumption of alcohol and other factors on aboriginal and
Torres Strain Islanders. There are several factors which lead this type of violence such as; lack of
effective laws related to alcohol consumption, lack of education, poverty and others. All these
factors put them pressure to commit crimes and such types of violence. Due to this violence,
women of this community are experiencing anxiety, injury, depression and others.
MAIN BODY
Impacts of violence and alcoholism in aboriginal and Torres strait Islander
In the context of aboriginal and ingenious people, it can be said that it refers a group of
people of the Australian mainland which are not well-developed as others. It is stated that
women of aboriginal group are more likely to effect violence done by males. Torres strait
Islander mothers in Australia are facing violence in their relationship with others. One of the
main reason of violence is consumption of alcohol by males to the great extent. Victimized
women stated that sexual and physical abuse affect them to the great extent as it makes them
stressed. Due to increasing rate of violence they experience anxiety, depression and physical

Not only men as there are several women who use violence on their children and partners due to
some reasons such as: having control, jealousy, retribution etc.
It is also stated that violence have several negative impacts on the lives of men and
females lives. Increasing rate of violence and alcoholism may increase a woman's vulnerability
to injury and many more negative consequences. For example: It leads them to contact with
criminal justice system, they commit several crimes in the hit of the moment. In this context of
aboriginal women, stated that family violence the main term which is being used in Australia
which takes place within extended family context. It includes: emotional, physical, sexual,
psychological and economic abuse. They carry deep hurt as a consequence which is transmitted
via subsequent generations and may, in some cases manifest in expression of violence, in
commonly but not exclusively, when alcohol is present McNamara & et.al., (2018).
In the other article, impacts of alcohol related harm among Australian aboriginal and
Torres strait Islanders is being identified. This type of violence is considered a major public
