2COLONIAL HISTORYNorth America, during the seventeenth century was considered to one of the mostcomplex British colonies that later emerged as a detached and parted English fragment far awayfrom the core English culture. During the colonial rule in North America the colonizers hadmulti-dimensional impacts upon the colonies. The essay looks into different genres and impactsof British colonies upon political economic and social sphere of Northern American regions( Creating the Constitution ushistory.org, 2017). In terms of social democracy, there was an important aspect in colonial America. Thetrial and acquittal of John Peter Zenger paved the path for the freedom of press. On the other hand, in terms of political democracy, there existed elected legislatures thatwere driven through many of the democratic processes. This was evident through MayflowerCompact that showed that the Government came from people. In terms of economic democracy it can be stated that the local farmers were allowed toperform trade with England, however with little profit margin.So far the undemocratic characteristics are considered, in social system the mostsignificant and ruthless practice was slavery under the British rule. The slaves were notconsidered to be human. The servitude was practiced even I political level where there was ahigh practice to marginalize the political parties that included local figures.
