INTRODUCTION
In today's era globalisation play's an effective role which implies the integration at
international level of several aspects such as cultures, investment, international trade, and
information technology. It includes objectives of globalisation in order to secure socio
economic as well as development of people through out flow of goods and services acorss all
boundaries.s (Beamish, 2013). In this report organisation chosen is Sainsbury's, a second largest
chain of supermarkets in United kingdom. This assignment is going to cover aims, objectives,
Gantt chart, WBS structure in order to provide time frames and time stages for completion of
research project. Additionally, the method qualitative and quantitative research can be used to
conduct small scale investigation for making appropriate conclusions. Moreover, by using
appropriate tools and techniques for analysing collected data and gatherings that will help in
providing a meaningful outcome of research.
In market of United Kingdom, globalisation have both positive and negative impact in
operating business activities which are described below:
Economic Impact: Globalisation implies on business to adapt different strategies in
order to develop new innovation and ideas in competitive marketplace. It help sainsbury's to
increase their productivity while operating at international marketplace due to reduction in trade
barriers as well as increase of economy of operating country.
Impact of Culture : In today's context globalisation is helping in dissolving cultural
barriers from different nation and countries (Boddewyn, 2015). For this instance, by
acknowledging culture of different different countries will help in gaining efficiency of
respective organisation.
Impact of Ethics: This impact of globalisation help sainsbury's in exploring its

specific job description. In this way it create a positive impact by hiring knowledge and skilled
employees so that an exact need and demand can be understand in effective manner.
