INTRODUCTIONResearch questionWhat are the impacts of structured checklist for each subject on student engagement?Rationale of the researchIt is important to have certain relevance to the research. Hence, present study will focusupon structure of learning stations impacting student engagement in the classroom. A graduateteacher must be aware of learning experiences and teaching practices that can ultimately help infulfilling the requirements of students with specific needs. The research will also be helpful inunderstanding quality teaching model for better output so that quality environment in classroomcan be promoted (Shernoff and et.al., 2014). Moreover, it also has focus upon uniform teachingstrategies adopted by the teachers so that classroom can be managed in a well-defined manner.The literature on learning stations will help in adoption of differentiating strategies of teachingthat can bring overall impact on student engagement in the classroom.Another aspect that is related to the present investigation is adoption of fun stations insuch a manner that all the concepts are taught through model education and engagementactivities. It helps in ensuring their engagement at a high scale and it also helps in developingtheir level of interest to a great amount. It assists in bringing adequate amount of change in theirthinking pattern in such a manner that appropriate learning behaviour can be promoted in theclassroom. LITERATURE REVIEWIntroduction to learning stationsAccording to Junco, (2012) Learning stations can be defined as the segregation being madein the classroom where the students are able to learn various academic concepts through funactivities. It helps in having higher retention in memory. The tasks are structured in such amanner that it helps in development of specific competencies among students. However, incontrast to this, as per the views of Denny, (2013) certain ways in which learning stations can bestructured are skills level, multiple intelligence, effective learning style and developing area ofinterest for the students through it. Hence, various schools and grade teachers are influenced touse fun activities to increase and build learning power of the individual in such a manner thatstudents will be able to enhance their knowledge base with adequate intelligence in it. 3
