INTRODUCTIONManagement have their own importance in every business. The report is based upon acase scenario of Imperial Hotel which is in London and operates 25 hotel in UK. But the reportpresent that hotel is suffering from a problem which is based upon a negative work cultureamong the staff because of high level of sick leave and as a result their performance is also lowbecause of poor attendance during their working hours. Therefore, the report present a review ofmanagement theory on the basis of this problem face by Imperial Hotel and also suggest somesuggestion in order to overcome from this problem with proper justification provided by PeterFransworth.Review of management theoryAs Imperial Hotel faces many problem regarding the negative working culture becausetheir workers are actually working in hotel for long term and for this reason the staff membersare going to sick at very short period. In order to review this, the system management theory isactually utilized whose aim is to achieve the integrated and balance work in the management(Bhalla, Qazi and Miralam, 2018). The system also includes in order to identify the overall goalsas well as objectives of the company and it further states the cycles that helps to calculate theinput as well as outcomes. Thus this management theory also becomes more effective forparticular pattern. In the context of Imperial Hotel, it also faces many problem regardingnegative workforce such that the hotel is running for 24 hours a day and as a result due to poorworking hours, employees or staff members of the company have no time to take rest and ifdirectly affect their working performance. Because of their poor attendance, the brand image ofthe hotel is also decline which creates lot of problem such as poor profit margin etc. In past times, the style of the management is authoritarian which shows that the entiredecision making is depend upon the manger only and because of this, no one in involve in the thedecision making process. Hence, it creates a lot of problem such as poor guest satisfaction leveland creates negative work culture among the staff members. Problem analysisThe organizational culture directly affect the working condition as well as performance oftheir staff members.
