environmental regulations
Environmental Regulation are different rules and different type of specific action which
is promoted by different agency in the organization to control different impact of pollution and
also looks at managing natural resources in an organization. Some of Environmental regulation
of New south Wales are as follows:
Protection of Environment legislation Amendment act 2011 is the Environment
regulation which has to be followed by the organization operating in New South Wales. This act
used to promote that all the organization in the nation has to make sure that they looks at the
pollution level of the nation. Some of the highlight of this act is Pollution incident notification
requirement, Duty to prepare and implement response management plan against implementation
of pollution and Licensees are require to monitor result of pollution.
Resources and initiatives
NSW government has produce a resource recovery strategy in the nation to reduce the
amount of wastage in the nation. Government of AU has produces a waste Avoidance and
Resource recovery strategy for 7 year starting from 2014-21. In this strategy the organization has
taken the initiative to reduce the waste as state government agencies, local government and the
broader community all will work together to reduce the amount of waste in the nation. In this
strategy target was delivered in the organization by the way of initiative Water less, recycle
more. In this strategy government. Elements which was consider by organization to achieve the
strategy are describe in below diagram.

Energy resources that are used in your workplace
C& I waste composition is the waste which is found in the hospitality industry of Australia.
Solar Energy: This energy is generally used by the organization to produce electricity in
the organization. This is done in the organization by the way of installing solar panel in the
organization. Large amount of energy gather from solar energy used to go into power grid, fossil
fuel Source and Supplementing Traditional.
Fossil Fuel: Coal, gasoline, natural gas are another important energy resource used by
the organization. This energy resources is generally used to run different machinery in the
organization.
Nuclear Energy: Nuclear energy is generally used in the organization to operates the
different type of electrics utilities in an organization.

current meter reading for gas, electricity and water
Electricity meter reading of Fleet restaurant shows that organization has consumed 76000 Kwh
electricity till date in the organization.
Gas meter of the organization used to show that the organization has consumed 358 GJ amount
of the energy till the date in the organization.
Water meter of the organization shows that organization has consumed 2650 Kiloliter of water
in the organization till date.
Equipment and appliances used in one specific department
There are many different type of appliance which are used in the kitchen and almost all of
the appliance used to consume a good amount of electricity for the same. Approx electricity
consumption by different appliance on monthly basis are as follows:

There are three measure water tap which is used by the restaurant to gather water in the
organization.
Tap 1: Kitchen tap from this tap approx 364 liter of water is flown through out the day, approx 4
hr. this tap is used by the restaurant
Tap 2: Washing tap from this tap approx 450 liter of water is flown through out the day, approx 3
hr. this tap is used by the restaurant
