4.9 Risk management plan
Type of risks Probability Impact Level of
risk
Mitigation
Financial risks: The university is
not able to provide sufficient fund
for the project.
Likely Severe High risk The university should collect
sufficient fund for the wireless
networking system project.
Issue of Wi-Fi: The campus is
made of Wi-Fi connectivity. Due to
location problem, there should be
some issue of Wi-Fi signal.
Possible Moderate Medium
risk
Before implementation of the
project, the location of the
university is properly investigated
if the wireless signal is weak or
not.
Issue of congestion with the
current bandwidth: The current
bandwidth of the wireless system
is congested; therefore there is lot
of traffic congestions among the
signals.
Possible Minor Low risk Proper bandwidth should be
taken into considerations so that
there is no issue of network
congestions.
Lack of resources: There is lack of
project resources such as there is
no system consultant who can
provide advice on type of network
implementation based on the
location of the university.
Unlikely Minor Low risk The project manager should hire
more resources for this particular
project plan.
4.10 Ethical issues analysis
The three ethical issues are:
1. Wi-Fi network is accessed by any unauthorized person. It is handled by providing strong
password to the Wi-Fi network.
2. The university data into the computer is misused by the computer users. All the computer data
should kept two ways password protected.

7.0 Post project review and recommendations
The implementation of the wireless networking system results into growth and deployment of
the university campus. This will provide with robust wired as well as wireless network at the campus.
Recommendations
Security: The wireless network should be kept secured with proper security so that no other
person should access to the data.
Media access control: MAC address should require configuring to the wireless network with set
of the MAC addresses allowed for the wireless clients.
VPN connections: The University should use of VPN in order to secure the wireless frames that is
sent over the private network.
