Maintaining both the process as well as the procedure is very much significant in most of the stand-alone projects in order to challenge different categories of challenges and uncertainties of the projects. The different categories of challenges which are addressed using documentation includes the scope of the projects, the deliverables of the projects, undefined goals of the project, management and monitoring of the inadequate goals of the project, scalability issues of the project, compatibility issues of the project, financial issues of the project, ambiguous contingency plans of the project, communication issues between the external and the internal stakeholders of the project, milestone and deadline issues of the project, resource management of the projects, time scheduling of the project and the lack of stakeholder engagement of the project (Mosier and Englebright 2019). All these different categories of issues can have an undesirable impact on the outcome of the project which can be resolved or addressed using professional documentation method.
