Iceland Foods Ltd. It is a multinational organisation which decide to enlarge their business
operations at international level. For this, different number of activities have been done by an
organisation or researcher. Literature review have been completed by analysing point of view of
authors about the impact of globalisation. Along with this, research methodology have been
completed with the use of different methods such as questionnaire, primary and secondary
research, sampling method, data collection and data analysis, qualitative and quantitative
research etc. All these are consider most effective methods which will support an investigator in
collection of appropriate data about the current study. With the help of thematic analysis,
accurate and relevant data has been collected and interpreted by the researcher. At last,
conclusion and recommendation have been completed by achieving each objectives of research
within given time period.

METHODOLOGY
Research methodology is most important part of research which will support a researcher
while collection of accurate and relevant data regarding the influence of globalisation on
business success (Kumar, 2019). There are different methods which will be applied for this
research project. Some are determined as under:
Research philosophy: This refers as a belief regarding the ways in which accurate
information about the topic or concept should be accumulated, analysed and used by the
researcher. This section of methodology will be classified into two types which is interpretivisim
and positivism. Interpretivisim philosophy will be adopted in the project which will be effective
for researcher to evaluate data in effective manner (Bresler and Stake, 2017). Along with this,
positivism is another research philosophy which will be not appropriate for an investigator while
carrying out of study in systematic manner.
Research choice: There are basically Three choice for an investigator about selection of
research. It is divided into two parts which is qualitative, quantitative and mixed method. Under
qualitative research, it is a primarily exploratory investigation (Ledford and Gast, 2018). It is
applied to gain a better understanding about the topic. In case of quantitative research, it is
applied to quantity the issue by way of creating numerical data or hard facts about the topic.
Mixed method is another choice for selection of research. In this both, qualitative and
quantitative research will be included. Both, qualitative and quantitative research will be applied
according to this project (Walliman, 2017). As it will help an investigator to accumulate data in
form of quality and hard facts also.
Advantages and
disadvantages
Qualitative research Quantitative research
Advantages This research is easy for an
investigator to determine risk
categories with higher impact
in the project.
This type of research will help
an investigator by providing
more accurate value of the risk
(Sarti, 2016).
Disadvantages In this type of research, results
or outputs can be biased and
less valuable (Humphries,
One of the main disadvantage
of quantitative research is it
more expensive and time

Research approach: It introduces as an useful way in which accurate and step-to-step
analysis will be completed about topic. For this project, inductive and deductive are consider two
types of research approach. In this investigation both types of research approach will be applied.
In case of deductive approach, it includes crucial and relevant articles of current topic in research
(Wildemuth, 2016). On the other hand, inductive approach will also used by researcher to
analyse scope of study through questionnaire. Thus, both approaches of research will be applied
to obtain better results.
Primary and secondary method of data collection: Primary and secondary are introduces
two useful types of data collection which will be applied for this project. For collecting primary
information, Questionnaire will be used. As this instrument of primary research will support a
researcher in collection of reliable data regarding the impact of globalisation on accounting
standard. Along with this, for accumulating secondary information regarding the current study,
books, magazines, journals etc. sources will be adopted (Machlis and Tichnell, 2019). Therefore,
both types of data collection methods will be used for this project which will help an investigator
in collection of valid and detailed information.
Research strategy: This section of research methodology includes different types of
research strategy such as observation forms, questionnaire, survey, interview schedule, case
study etc. All these are consider main types of research strategy (Attia and Edge, 2017). In this
research questionnaire will be used because it will support in accumulation of valid as well as
relevant data about the impact of globalisation.
Sampling: Sampling is introduces as an important process of choosing the sample size
from the given population. According to current study, three types of sampling methods will be
applied by researcher which is random sampling, stratified sampling and cluster sampling.
Therefore, with the help of above mentioned sampling methods, 50 employees of Iceland Foods
Ltd will be recruited (King and Mackey, 2016).
Research limitation: There are different limitation or issues which are witnessed at the
period of performing each activities of research. One of the main limitation for this project is
time. The research topic is vast and for accumulating the response, accurate time is needed. So in
the entire it can be explained that time is not sufficient for the entire study. There are also
different limitation which have been faced by researcher such as inaccurate amount of fund,
