INTRODUCTION Setting goal is very necessary as it provide the direction of action in order to provide guidance and inspiring them(Dreifuerst and et. al., 2016). If the goal is achieved in a proper time then it provide the overall personality development of a person and inculcate self confidence and patience in them. The students should have clear cut goals so that they could prepare an appropriate strategy and start working towards it. This project is based on long term and short term goals by following proper time management. It also includes the various ways and tactics to boost the memory of students by pursuing a strong vision. Importance of Setting Goals Goal setting help to provide clear vision by preparing a proper planning and smart strategysuchasspecific,measurable,attainable,realisticandtimebound(Esquiveland Sweetman,2016).Timemanagementisverynecessarytoensurelongtermsuccessby overcoming fear and pushing the students forward to live life to the fullest. The goal setting also help to convert ideas into double mile stones and concentrate on long term mission and also positivity is the major factor to stop procrastination in one's life. Various personality traits such as confidence, determination that help to improve overall performance among the students. The SMART goals of criteria are defined as follows: SpecificObjectives must be clear to the students so that they work with greater efficiency. MeasurableIt must be measurable in terms of effective result. AttainableIt can be attained with greater efforts and are achievable. RealisticIt should be relevant so that students could overcome the challenges of life. Time BoundThe objective must be accomplished within short span of time. 1
Long Term Goals:These are goals that are achieved for a long period of time that is more then twelve months and help in accomplishing long term vision(Etzkowitz, 2016). These goals could be achieved by various ways like self confidence and provide direction for action through hard work and strategic planning. The students in a university prepare a long term plan to qualify next semester by making a proper setting of goals. Advance planning is the better choice to make meaningful decision and provide accuracy to accomplish vision and mission of life. Short term Goals:These are goals that are accomplished less than twelve months or within a shore span of time(Lamb,and et. al., 2017).Students can complete their assignments on time by understanding it properly in a limited time. Proper balanced diet play is a necessary prospective to achieve better life like by having fruits, vegetables and plenty of water to keep the body hydrated. Stopping procrastination is the major strength of achieving long term goals. Reading books help one's to increase the skills and knowledge base of students and thus improve the analytical thinking. One of the reason that students could focus on long term growth could be accomplished by eliminating distractions and inspiring them. Proper workout routine is the major factor for learners to get better life and develop positive attitude among the students. Rewarding and sense of appreciation is the key factor to motivate students so that they work with full potential. This help students to achieve future growth and ensure success among the students. Various ways to improve memory for better academic performance There are various ways to improve the memory of students that help them to retain for a long period of time(McClure,2016). There are several techniques to boost the memory of academics like sleepingfor minimum eight hours. Meditation may affect positively health in different ways like relaxing and soothing the memory and reduces pain and stress. Avoiding junk food and following proper balanced diet help to adapt better lifestyle. Playing brain games like crossword puzzles, chess and so on help to retain for a long period of time and it also rejuvenate the skilful mind of students. The best way of learning is to teach someone that help students to remember for a longer time. As it is said in a statement, Early to bed and Early to rise, this help students to save time and focus on their task to work beyond their reach.Small handy notes also help students to accomplish their task. Through visualisation and imaginary diagrams help students to learn faster and with greater efficiency and thereby help students to retain for achieving long term vision of 2
