In every organization, managers play a major role for the betterment of the organization. They
help in enhancing the various processes of the business. The role of a manager is to understand
the current business processes and make suitable decisions for improving the processes within
the business. This report puts a deep focus on the various knowledge, skills and abilities that are
needed by managers in order to increase the efficiency within the business processes. Based on
them different recommendations are also suggested for the managers that would help them in
supporting the business processes.

1 Introduction
The role of management plays a major role within an organization. Every workplace
requires a manager who would be able to perform and shape the business processes within the
particular organization. The task of managing an entire organization requires a lot of experience
and knowledge in order to handle the situations that would arise within the organization (Goetsch
and Davis 2014). The manager is a title of a job that would be used within an organization in
order to represent an employee who possesses certain responsibilities and duties, which would
help them to lead different departments. The manager of an organization is consigned to a
precise level within the chart of an organization. The employees who possess the job title of a
manager have some major significant diverse duties and responsibilities of their job for the
people and functions (Kam Sing Wong 2013).
The description of the job of a manager would vary from one organization to another,
which would depend on the detailed responsibilities that would be assigned for the function of
the job. The managers of an organization would be responsible in order to ensure that that all the
employees would be performing their jobs correctly, thoroughly and within the proposed time.
The expectations and goals should be made clear to the employees. The role of a manager and
the description of their job are at the classification level within the organization. It would
integrate the various functions and the departments for the success of the implementation.
