REFLECTION During academic life, I have attended different mini workshops for communication skills which is important for a person. These mini workshops are playing important role in academic life as it improve knowledge of a person. During this workshops, I understand important of communication skills for a person and also about different types, techniques, theories and model of communication skills(CHAN, LEE, and WANG, 2017). Along with communication skills, I also learned about importance for listening skills in communication skills. Communication is one of important skills as it allow me to share important information from one person to another. It is essential skills for a person as it allow them for purpose of sharing ideas, thoughts, information in clear words without any confusion. In this workshops, many of my friends has participated and work with dedication and learn new things. Before starting these workshop, I was nervous and less interested as I thought it was boring but attending these mini workshops of communication. But with joining these workshops, I needs to get opportunity to work with my friends(Wright, 2017). In these different people who ha s knowledge related to communication guide us and provide us new things about how to improve communication skill. In beginning, I was quiet difficult for us but later on, we have enjoyed it as things went smooth. In the end, I was happy with attending and participating these workshops as I improved my communication skills and other academic skills. During this workshop, I improve many of my skills like communication skills, time management skills, negotiation skills, decision making skills, problem solving skills and many more. These skills are important for purpose of improving academic grades and also to improving my capability to garb more knowledge, information and learning. In this workshop, different group discussion, presentation, debates activities are organised where me and my fried get opportunity to participate and improve out skills(Rabu and Badlishah, 2020). In order to prepare for an activity conducted at workshop, we needs to read learned and understand a academic topic which is further beneficial for us as its knowledge are also important for us to improve ourself. There are various things which went good in this experience as I got prices of my excellent work. It is one of best things about overall experience of this workshop as it is important for improving motivation of a person. Bad thing about this experience is that I feel shy in the beginning which does not allow me to interact with other people in this workshop. Things
which I have learned from this experience is communication is key for academic life of a person which allow a person to communicate confidently in clear words without any confusion and misunderstanding. I also learned to be not panic with any of situation and needs to be more confident in order to learn new things. If same situation arise me in future, I will act differently as I developed necessary skills to be require for this types of situation.
