INTRODUCTION
With the help of various writing skills an individual can express their opinions ideas
thoughts so that they convey their messages and ideas efficiently to others. The writing skills are
considered to be a basic requirement to be successful in academics and in profession (Berninger,
2017). It equips an individual with ability to communicate better and also it influences the
thinking abilities which foster the explanation of any thought or any idea. In this report a
reflection is written on the basis of the previous work and on the basis of the feedbacks an action
plan is developed that can facilitate in improving the writing skills of an individual.
MAIN BODY
3.1) A Reflective Log
In my previous work I had to consider various aspects related to the secondary research
along with various sources from where the data can be collected. With the help of previous
assignment I got to know about effectiveness of textbooks and free search engine as they are
source of information. Apart from this the evaluation of the use of journals and newspaper are
taken into consideration as secondary sources in which the data are presented on the basis of
events taking place as well a study based on facts and figures (Yamac and Ulusoy, 2017). I also
worked upon the copy rights and plagiarism with which I got to know about the importance of
these two in writing skills. To protect the rights and the ideas so written copyrights need to be
taken while to plagiarism is not to copy data and the information that has been provided by
someone in their reports. The entire content included in the assignment was collected from
internet. While gathering the data I faced difficulty in context of determining the authentic
sources and content. For this assignment I got to know that I need to improve upon my writing
skills as the content so used was not properly explained as well as was not presented well. While
writing it is crucial to consider the language and the tone in which it is written, also the active
voice must be considered so that the reader can understand the concept explained effectively. In
my assignment the content was not that appropriate, the language so used in the assignment was
not simple as some difficult words were included. So improve upon this I need to emphasis of
these areas so that I can develop better writing skills.

3.2) An Action Plan
An action plan is considered to be a detailed outline of the actions with the help of which an
individual can improve their performance for the particular task. In this the areas to be improved
is defined along with the resources and the timescale within which they have to be improved
(Healy and Mulholland, 2019). To improve my writing skills I have to develop an action plan
with various resources and the time scale within which it can develop.

support this I will be taking various online
sessions and will attend workshops organised

the vocabulary and
grammatical
concepts
For supporting this I will be focussing upon the
various subject specific sheets for vocabulary
with the help of which I could develop an
understanding of alternative words and simple
words to frame the sentences. Along with this
spelling strategy sheets will also be prepared
that will facilitate in reducing the chances of
spelling errors (Cottrell, 2019). For improving
the grammatical concepts various online
sessions will be taken so that better
understanding can be developed.

It is concluded from the above report that an individual has to focus upon their writing skill
as with the help of this they can ensure their success in their c\academic as well as
professionally. This enables them to communicate better with others due to which it becomes
important to improve them and it can be done by developing an action plan in which various
activities are defined that are to be undertaken for the improvement such as improvement in
vocabulary, presentation skills etc. for improving the writing skills.
