The purpose of this study is to focus on the importance of diversity and inclusion in
school education of multi-ethnic as well as and secular Irish society. For this purpose, the first
section of this study, aims to define the significance of ‘Diversity and Inclusion’ in the primary
school curriculum. In this context this study also attempts to establish the links between the
theoretical notions of ‘Diversity and Inclusion’ as well as the values depicted in the 1999
Primary School Curriculum. The next section of this study focuses on the contribution of school
policies as well as practices in the framework suggested in the 1999 Primary School Curriculum.
The analysis has been done with reference to the History, Philosophy as well as psychology of
education. Finally, a connection between real life case studies and theme in the dialogue in case
of Philosophy of Education, has been established.
‘Diversity and Inclusion’ in the primary school curriculum’
Generally, the curriculum for primary school are designed for helping the children who study in
any primary schools more conscious about the ways students made to face challenges and learn
from them.
Diversity and Inclusion’ is one of the approaches, of educating primary school children.
In this case, refers to the importance of the concept of Diversity and Inclusion’. Diversity matters
in the classroom, specially, in the case of primary education, of Irish society, because it will help
school children to learn to adjust with peers from different, lingual, religious or cultural
background. Hence, the significance of including both the factors diversity as well as inclusion,

school curriculum is that, they need to inculcate love acceptance and acceptance for a
culturally diverse society and also needs to understands what are the ways a cultural as ethnically
diverse society is facilitating the growth of the nation (Faas Darmody and Sokolowska 2016).
‘Diversity and Inclusion’
Diversity and Inclusion’ arises in case of a culture or country which is enriched with the
variations rules as well as norms, of various culture and where society consist of people of
different ethnic as well as religious background. IN this case the ethnical diversity also indicates
to the travelers or people who have migrated from other countries.. Generally, the curriculum for
primary school are designed for helping the children who study in any primary schools more
conscious about the ways students made to face challenges and learn from them. Diversity and
Inclusion’ is one of the approaches, of educating primary school children. In this case, refers to
