INTRODUCTION
Inclusive practice involves approaching positive attitude towards the teaching so, the students
can easily participate in the learning process and development of the children can take place.
These involve those methods of teaching which results in increasing the efficiency of the learner.
These practices put focuses on many factors that are mandatory while teaching. This report will
illustrate the concept of inclusive practice and the ways through which it can be applied in
teaching. The report also describes the policies used under this. Also, the ways in which the
inclusive learning environment can be maintained in education will be described in the report.
Along with this, personal experience of teaching will be share. The report will highlight the key
benefits of these practices in the learning environment. Lastly, the evaluation of own inclusive
practice will be done.

TASK A
Understanding the factors that affects the learning
Here are the factors that affects the learning process:
Personal factors- Variety of personal factors affects the learning power of the learner.
Understanding these factors by teacher results in the efficient teaching method. It includes:1. Age- The process of learning depends upon the age and maturity level of the students. An
efficient learning takes place when students become mature enough for taking part in
learning process.2. Interest- The level of interest in the children decides their learning capacity. Some
students have more desire to learn and some do not have (Azorín and Ainscow, 2020).
The teacher has to put focus on the ratio of the interest every student have.3. Motivation- This is the core element of the learning process. A good motivation results in
generating the desire of learning in the students. The motivation works as the reward for
the learner.4. Aptitude- The students that consists aptitude regarding one particular subject results in
performing much better in that subject. On the other hand, those students takes more time
in learning for other subject.

5. Needs- The needs are directly concerned with the goals. The need of the students towards
learning helps in deciding their learning power. (Tarhini and et.al., 2017). The
completion of needs provides the satisfaction to the students. And enforce them to learn
more.
6. Attitude- The attitude of the students helps in forming the learning power of the students.
The attentive students in class learn more in comparison of the less attentive students.
The teacher has to put focus on all those students equally.
Social and cultural factors- These are considered as the environmental factors that occurs from
the surrounding of the students and act as a barrier in the learning process. It includes:1. Language- The learners are from the different cultures. As a result, all of them have a
different language. This works as a barrier while communicating in the learning process.2. Cultural variables- There are large number of learners and all of them belongs to the
different culture and having different values and beliefs. This works as a barrier in the
communication process (Nishina and et.al., 2019).
3. Preferences- Students have different approaches in the process of learning. Sometimes,
the learners forces students to adopt that approach which has been adopted by them. As a
result, students loses desire towards learning.
Analysing the impact of different cognitive, sensory and physical disabilities on learning
There are large number of students who are suffering from certain cognitive, sensory and
physical disabilities. These factors impact the learning process. Students with physical issues
faces the problem of moving from one place to another in the classroom. The teacher must
ensure that, for such student learning should make easy by not increasing their movement in the
classroom. The cognitive issues involve the problems related to mind ability. Those students who
have certain level of limitations in communicating and learning by birth are part of this. These
problems act as a barrier while learning the topics. The learner should decide the whole topic in
small parts and explaining should be done. The sensory disability is a mental disorder that affects
human brain in processing the sensory information (Basister and Valenzuela 2021). For such
students who have this disability especial classroom has been opened, names sensory classroom.
This classroom helps in providing experiencing different senses to the learner in order to make
their learning easy. The cognitive disabilities impacts the mental ability of the students, the
physical disability works as a hinder in taking movements in the class. The sensory disability

impacts the senses of the students. Some students understand quickly while some do not
(Dewsbury and Brame, 2019). These disabilities impact the learning power of the students and
generates less desire them in relation of learning. The students themselves feel that they cannot
do anything with such disabilities.
Analysing the policies and regulatory framework related to the inclusive practice along with
determining the influence of the policies and regulatory framework on the organisational
policies related to inclusive practice
There are various legal and organizational policies has been implemented in the inclusive
education. This has been developed with the aim of adding more efficiency in the process of
learning. These policies ensure that all the students getting equal treatment. Especially, those
students that are facing the disabilities. It involves:
Equity act- This refers to that legislation which suggest that every student must be treat in equal
manner. In a classroom there are large number of students. And all of them are from different
background (Clark, Dyson and Millward, 2018). Thus, it is important to provide the equal
treatment to all the students and ensure them effective treatment.
SET- It involves those places such as, schools and colleges where all students whether they are
disabled or perfectly fine learns together. This offers equal opportunity to all the learners for
learning. This enables a sense of equality in all the learner that results in increasing of learning
desire.
Duty of care- It involves taking care of the students while they are in school. The teachers and
guiders has a responsibility to look upon the students ensuring their protection. (Woods, 2019).
A safe environment adds more effectiveness in the learning process.
Code of conduct- These are the standards that has been set for the teaching. The teacher has to
follow this code of conduct in order to add more values in their teaching process.
Safeguarding- This ensures that all the children are getting equal opportunities in the school.
The teacher has to approach each and every student in order to create a sense of equal treatment.
Roles and responsibilities- Under inclusive practice, the teacher is accountable for creating the
environment while teaching, where all students can have the sense of belongingness. The major
role is played by the principal of the education department (Stewart and Valian, 2018). The

principal is the provides responsibilities to the teacher. This has been done in order to make
students comfortable. So, they can learn easily.
All the policies and regulatory framework that has been described above are related to the
inclusive practice. And all these legislations affects the policies of the school and colleges by
assuring the inclusive learning environment in the classroom. Not following the legislations can
leads to high penalties for the schools and colleges therefore, it provides the pressure of adopting
the policies in effective manner.
Ways in which policies and regular framework influencing own inclusive practice
In order to increase the potential of learning the educational organizational I have adopted some
supporting facilities and those are:
Promoting the positive environment in schools. I believe in promoting the positive
environment in my classroom
Focusing on embracing the student's diversity. I believe in treating all the students in
equal manner.
I make the effective interaction with the students.
The safeguarding policy has enabled me to provide protection towards my students.
These facilities act as a supportive role in implementing the efficient teaching process by me in
the schools.

Analysing the own roles and responsibilities related to inclusive practice
Teaching is most important concept in the educational department. Teaching enables the
learners to learn (chanicka and Logan, 2021). For implementing the inclusive practice, as a
teacher, I adopted the role of creating the positive environment while teaching my students. The
positive approach helps in understanding the mind set of the students. Then, according to that,
the teaching method has been adopted. It helps in increasing the level of understanding between
me and my students. The efficient understanding results in efficient communication. It further
results in solving of doubts of the students. Every teacher should have its own concept of
teaching. Instead of coping other roles, one must create own way of teaching. I believe in the

concept of improving the relationship between the teacher and students. Therefore, apply this
strategy while teaching.
In order to meet the learning need of the students, The mentorship and counselling has
been approached by me. The perfect mentoring of the students helps in the innovation of more
skills in the students and the process of counselling enables me to seek more information about
the students.
Analysing relationship among the own role and the roles of professionals in relation of inclusive
practice
The health and welfare department under education system helping in the inclusive
practice. The educational welfare officer of a particular area put a keen focus and makes sure that
all the children of same age are getting the facility of education. On the other hand, the health
department focuses on opening the various health related programmes and providing free
treatment to the students. This result in making students more productive (Bruffaerts and et.al.,
2018). Thee are many career organizations helping the students in establishing their learning
need related to their career and choosing the best options among that. The inclusive learning is
just not limited to the schools. The students are getting various opportunities of inclusive
learning from the outside world. But, the starting point for the students has been always the
school.
Evaluating the points that shows inclusive practice meet an individual's learning need
The key benefits of the inclusive learning are that all the students of different community
are able to learn together and experience the sense of belongingness. It generates more
opportunities for learning. The key benefits of the inclusive learning environment are safety,
equality, leadership and empowering the students. The inclusive environment promotes the
equality between all the students. It ensures the safety of the students, it protects the students
from the discrimination. (Woodruff and et.al., 2020). The teachers form themselves in an
efficient leader by performing the process of inclusive practice. The strategies that has been used
by the professionals in order to form inclusive environment are:
The first step is, knowing the students. Seeking the mandatory information about the
students.
Creating a safe environment for the students so, they can share everything without any
fear.

students.
The consistent level of communication with all the students whether they are perfectly
fine or disable leads to creating the equality in the learning environment.
I believe in providing freedom and flexibility to the students. It enables students in
sharing of their doubts freely.
The main step of promoting inclusion is creation of faith in the student towards me. The
faith and belief of the students towards the teacher results in the better understanding of
the concept as the faith ensures the safety in the mind of the students.
Arranging the cultural discussions in the class in order to provide opportunity to all the
students for sharing their culture.
The social discussion is one of the best approach adopted by me. It helps in exploring the
thoughts of the students in terms of their personal thoughts. It also helps in knowing the
existing knowledge of the students.
Providing each and every student a chance for presenting themselves in that field under
which they are expert. It helps them to evolve their talents.

I have analysed my strengths and that is, I focus on treating every student with equal
manner. Also, I provide opportunities to everyone in order to share their thoughts in the
classroom. The major weakness that I have found is that, more time has been consumed by me in
the completion of the task. This leads to creating the threat of not achieving the task in time in
relation of inclusive practice. The inclusive learning results in the creation of various strength in
me and along with this, various development opportunities has been opened for me. The
inclusive practice helps in growing the mental ability of the student. This process enables them to
have a good communication power. The interaction between the students and me results in the
formation of the good communication chain. A good communication efficiency helps in sorting
out many issues. This strength of good communication is just not limited to the classroom. This
will help the students in their whole life. The social discussion in the classroom enables the
better understanding of the society in the mind of the children. The social values in the students
makes them socially developed person. (Kodirov, 2020). It leads to open up to of various
opportunities in the near future. The inclusive practice is just not limited to increasing the
learning efficiency of the students. Along with this, it helps in the personal development of the
students. It shapes the character of the children.
Action plan
In order to increase my skills under inclusive practice, I will focus on increasing more
efficiency of communication with my students. I will use various ways in terms of exploring the
communication process with my students. The exchanging of thoughts is the key of making a
person more knowledgable. This will help my students to know about different aspects of
learning and the different aspect of life as well. Also, I will part my whole goals in different parts
and complete each goal in decided time. As a result, this leads to help me in time-management.

It has been summarized from the above study that, the inclusive practice plays an important role
in making the process of learning more efficient. There are various factors that are needed to
studied in order to implement a good inclusive practice in the classroom. The concept of
inclusive practice promotes the equality among the students. It full-fill the social values and
morals. The report also describes that, the inclusive learning helps in shaping the character of the
students. And opens up various development opportunities for them. This also helps in creation
of various ways of learning.
