Preventive steps that James could have undertaken
Step1:
James Scott being the Operations Manager at the
call centre Company known as Trident Support
could have introduced a Code of Conduct.
This would have helped to preserve ethical attitude
towards different races and cultures among young
English as well as people from New Zealand who
come to work on their holidays, immigrant groups
of Indians and Anglo-Australians who have been
serving the Company for a long time (Lentin, 2016).
A proper Code of Conduct should clearly state
regarding recognizing and maintenance of valuing
diversity in the organization that would be an
advantage in creating good quality production
services towards handling various clients and
customer queries in future.

[Contd.]
Step 2:
Introduction of group chats, systems associated with
mass notifications, newsletters or emails could have
been successful in providing an open platform
towards communication among people mainly
Anglo-Australians as well as Indians.
This would have helped them to exchange ideas
regarding their nations and they would have got
benefitted by learning from others the ways they are
trying to adapt themselves in a new working
environment and living society (Vickers, 2014).
Open communication platform would have provided
the employees to speak about themselves, problems
they are facing with their colleagues who are from
different country background and resolve their
problems among themselves instead of complaining
to the higher authority and putting pressure up on
them.
