INTRODUCTIONOrganisational culture is based on the values, norms, belief and behaviours. A healthyorganisational culture helps in encouraging employees to stay motivated and loyal towardsthe management and also promote the healthy relationship among the employees at the workplace which ultimately results in the high productivity and profitability of the firm (Elsmore,2017). This essay evaluates the suggestions made in the article of Hofstede’s model. Thismodel of cultural dimension shows the elements which plays an important role in developingthe business operation at the global level. Every business firm develop its own values andculture which differentiate them from others in terms of cultural dimensions.Main body1. Evaluation of the suggestions which are made in the article of the Hofstede modelThe Hofstede model includes the national and regional factors which plays an important rolein the culture of the organisation and influence the behaviour of the employees in thebusiness firm. This model of cultural dimensions includes the various factors such as powerdistance, masculinity, individualism uncertainty avoidance which affect the productivity ofthe firm. The first dimension of the Hofstede model is power distance which shows thatpower was distributed equally among all irrespective of their positions whereas in someorganisation in which power is delegated only some number of superiors and team leadersand they are responsible for the overall performance of the firm, in this the first powerdistance is better as compared to second one because if every employee is responsible fortheir own performance which results in the better performance(Fellows and Liu, 2016). Italso increases the effectiveness of the employee in terms of working methods. The secondelement of the Hofstede model is individualism/ collectivism, some of the organisationfollow the culture in which employees do not believe to work in the single unit and preferworking individually towards the attainment of organisational goal whereas, someorganisation focused on team work. In which employees with a common interest worktogether and work in a single unit towards the accomplishment of the common goal in thefirm which helps in creating the better relationship among the employees and helps increating the healthy working environment at the work place of the business firm whichultimately result in the high productivity and profitability of the firm. The masculinitycultural dimension element includes the effects of differences in the male and femaleemployees in the culture of the enterprise (Nobre, 2016). In this organisation make the
