This presentation discusses the needs of a service user group with protected characteristics, such as age, gender, religion, race, and belief. It emphasizes the importance of providing equal opportunities and healthcare services to all service users. The presentation also highlights the duties, roles, and responsibilities of nurse assistants in the NHS and healthcare departments, along with the challenges they face. It explores the relation between professional groups and service user groups with protected characteristics, as well as the relevant policy and legislation. Additionally, it provides recommendations for developing the performance of professional roles and discusses the benefits and challenges of working interprofessionally with other team workers. The presentation concludes with a reflection on the author's own experience and an evaluation of approaches to performance management.
