Thisreport will cover the roles and responsibilities of coach in order to get the best out of thestudents. It will also analyse the different ways through which a coach is able to meet the goalsof different candidates. it will also cover the different ways through which a coach can improveits own skills which would support it for one and one teaching.TASK 1A) Difference between teaching, coaching and mentoring and explain the responsibility that yourrole describes.Learning can be provided by coaching, teaching, mentoring to in order to enhance theskills and knowledge of an individual as well as a group of team. These terms are very similar toeach other (Yeldham and Gruba, 2016). But it can be differentiated according to roles andresponsibilities of the characters. Like teaching is all about knowledge and information that isrelated to a particular subject matter. whereas, coaching is done in order to achieve individualperformance for a particular task. on the other hand, mentoring focuses over the efficiency andskills of an individual.Mentoring:the main role of mentor is to give advice, to give direction to the team or individualand then to get their feedbacks in hope of achieving their particular agenda. the majorresponsibilities of an mentor is to analyse project targets and then motivate individuals to achievethe organisations goal. A mentor should be very friendly to the feedback that has been given bythe individuals which help to build a strong relationship between the mentor and team orindividual workers (Bhattacharjee, 2015).Coaching:this is a another way of learning any concept which focuses over polishing presentskills of an individual. It is a long term process which concentrate over weak points of anindividual in order to get best out of them. in this, experience of a coach is very important for thestudents or individuals because a experienced coach knows various methods for instructing anindividual in different manner which increases the confidence level of a student (Hood, N.,1
Littlejohn and Milligan, 2015). coaching also includes their particular agenda over which theyfocus to achieve the target. Coaching process also includes consequence of behaviour and theirimpacts.Teaching:it is a learning process which can be carried out by a group as well as one on oneperson in order to improve knowledge and supply latest information to the individuals. Teachingcan be carried out by many ways like by arranging learning programs like workshops , seminarswhich supports most of the students to understand , questioning and by this way it would beeasier for them to grab useful content regarding there subjects (Grey, Williams and Rebuschat,2015).Through roles and responsibilities a teacher, coach and mentor can be define. It is verysignificant to plan a appropriate strategies through which a candidate is able to target over itsgoals and objectives. Responsibilities which are played by a coach are as followsproper guidance and direction:a coach , mentor and a teacher all has a hugeresponsibility of providing proper instruction and feedback to the students in order to supportthem to achieve there targeted goals. For example, if a student wants to set career in sports thanthe coach would describe the importance and the future that the students is going to make in it.The coach would give different instruction and methods through which the candidate will be ableto make career in sports. Coach would advise the candidate to take admission in one of the bestcolleges for sports ,through which the student will be able to take part in numbers ofcompetitions and this will support the candidate to achieve its goals (Thistlethwaite and et.al.,2016).Motivating and challenging:there are various methods through which individuals aswell as team can be motivated in order to meet its destiny. As a coach, I always used to motivatestudents in order to increase the confidence level of the students. I used to train them harder forthere competitions so that whenever they faces any difficult challenge, they are capable enoughto handle it with a good outcome. With the support of more and more challenges , a learner isable to accept negative results in a positive way, so they don't get demotivated with a negativefeedback(Woodard, Pozzan and Trueswell, 2016).Discovering new methods:sometimes it happens when a student faces failure . At thattime, a coach should provide solutions that are efficient as well as good for there career,in orderto transform that failure into the success.2
