INTRODUCTION
Digitalization is the process through which the company or the organization initiates its
business to grow on e – commerce platforms successfully and significantly (Bloomberg, 2018).
Cybertill Ltd is the organization which deals in cloud based retail technology services provided
to the retailers and the customers.
The report will analyze an overview of digital business and its advantages assessing the
Cybertill’s strengths and weaknesses. New emerging digital business models in context of key
business issues such as cyber security and ethics that the organization uses will help in providing
the knowledge of what are the essential characteristics of the company. Along with this, impact
of new collaborative relationships and strategic alliance through digital technology of the
organization will help in making the technology aspect important for both collaboration and
alliances which the company initiates. Various e -commerce principles that could be used by the
organization will be analyzed and elaborated to know in detail their success measures and growth
effectively and efficiently.

1. Overview of digital business with its advantages and disadvantages applied to Cybertill Ltd
Cybertill Ltd is a cloud based retail technology company. The company incorporates in e
– commerce services, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), stock control, warehousing
and merchandizing modules (Kreutzer and et.al., 2017). Cybertill allows the retailers to have
access to products and the customers by maintaining both customers and product file. The
company follows this process through mail order systems, EPOS integration. Through this digital
business the company has grown the business with revenue up to 250% this year and 300% the
year before. The business is exponentially growing in the terms of increasing sales and revenue
throughout the year and accessing the customers through their interactions and actions which
they have displayed through this digital business channel (Urbach and et.al., 2017).
There are many advantages of digital business when applied to Cybertill Ltd which are
explained as follows –
New Channels with Customers – Digital business not only opens up sales channels but also
initiates and expands new ways of communicating with customers. Cybertill is excellent in
making customer interaction effortful (Sousa and et.al., 2019). Through emails and digital
presence the company is able to connect with the customers and potential retailers. This is the
main advantage which Cybertill imbibes.
Improves Productivity and Efficiency – Through digital business the Cybertill is able to increase
its efficiency and productivity which encourages the business to grow on large scale (Luo, 2021).

This process also decreases the cost of services which are being rendered to the customers and
overall business works by managing that cost. Technology is the main key source which has
helped Cybertill in increasing the company’s efficiency and productivity.
Encourages Innovation – Innovation is the best technique which allows new trends and
technologies to indulge in the business effectively. The process and technology of Cybertill has
made the procedures of digital business more convenient for the customers and the company
itself (Veleva and et.al., 2020).
Along with this, there are many disadvantages of digital business when applied to
Cybertill Ltd which are elaborated as below –
Security Issue – This is the major disadvantage of digital businesses. It will become problem for
Cybertill when the issues and problems will arise for both the customers and retailers. Therefore,
the systems should be integrated in an efficient manner which helps in allowing the customers
and the retailers make security strict and private for the users (Ištvanić and et.al., 2017).
Initial Investment – Cybertill needed initial investment at large scale which is the biggest
disadvantage to the digital business. Therefore, planning of effective strategy should be done so
that the investments are incurred at high level and the business is able to achieve the growth and
development.
Competition – Competition in the external market is the biggest disadvantage to the company
growing in digital businesses. Cybertill has many competitive in the market which makes its
digital business difficult as the techniques and tactics which are used by the company is copied
by its competitors as also there are many fast growing other digital businesses.
Therefore, advantages and disadvantages when applied to Cybertill helps in analyzing the
business in the market structure and along with this it initiates various ways through which the
company can grow business on large scale by adopting various techniques and trends which are
growing in the market (Dornberger and et.al., 2021). This will help the business grow on fast
pace and will enhance the processes which are being followed by the company to provide the
services to the customers and will easily be usable for the retailers who are involved in the
Cybertill’s digital business.
Also, digital business is the most effective and an efficient process to grow the business
and Cybertill has been on the success with this growth as it has incurred great revenues and sales
in the market. Digital business has helped the company in various forms which help the business
to develop new techniques. Technology is the main aspect which has added more delight and
favorable circumstances have been created for the business to initiate more new processes and
procedures overall in the business. Thus, through digital business the company is able to analyze
the core strengths and weaknesses and develops its strategies on the aspect of growing business
effectively and efficiently on overall basis.
