INTRODUCTION
Business environment is a major factors hat contributes towards business success and
growth, it involves both external and internal business factors that need to be fosses upon,
wherein business needs to formulate different strategies by addressing the external and internal
factors of the business. Wherein the internal environment factor involves internal management,
finance, organizational structure growth policies and others, the external environment includes
different business which are competitors to the business and strategies that businesses needs to
take. In the context of Marks and Spencer which is a multinational organisation delivering its
services to its global clients. found in the year 1884 by Michael Marks and Thomas Spencer,
headquartered in London, UK. It delivers products and services including apparels, banking
services, food services, home furnishing and improvements products. This report covers different
characteristics, example of micro, small and large size businesses, characteristics and example of
sole trader, partnership, limited liability, public limited liability businesses, explain
organizational structure and how it affects the productivity of the businesses, conduct PESTLE
analysis in order to determine that how different external factors affects the business
performances (Akhmetshin and et.al.,2017).

Micro business
These are the business with number of employees ranging from 1-9. These business are found in
different localities with sole proprietor and very generates very small revenue. There are more
than 5.6 million micro business in UK. One such micro business in UK, is Boss Brewing
Company founded by Sarah John. Brewery based in Swansea, South Wales (Belás and
et.al.,2019).
