retention are closely interlinked to each other because comprehension leads retention and
enhance skills of students (Alkhateeb and et.al., 2015). There are lots of comprehension
strategies like research about reading material, questioning, interpreting text structure,
visualization and summarization. These strategies lead comprehension and enhance
comprehension skills in students. When students overcomes whole comprehension strategy as
resulted retention skills enhances. This report will cover role of building comprehension and
retention which improves quality of learning and supports to enhance academic achievement of

students needs practical guidance before reading. Academic teachers plays crucial role to guide
students how to enhance their comprehension skills so that they enable to improve quality of
learning. Teacher plays crucial role to build comprehension skills and retention skills so that
students learning quality is improved. Teacher creates focuses on students reading and suggest
them deep reading so that their reading skills becomes good. Teacher assigns project to their
students and suggest them some good writers books to collect data and guides them to solve
question. While students takes help of books during research and understand topics which
assigns them. Student surveys about project and puts some question during reading, finds
answers by re-reading then analyses, after analysing interpret it in text. These whole process
supports to build comprehension. While teachers asks question regrading project through viva
process. Communication is the best way to enhance effectiveness in academic students during

There are various technology to builds students comprehension, For example poster,
projector and practical knowledge etc. leads effectiveness in students and then student enables to
correlate things in easy manner. Teacher takes help of projector to elaborate things rather
reading. In projector shows pictures which attracts student and students listen intently to their
teachers. It becomes easy for teachers to elaborate things. This technology leads effectiveness in
student understanding (Bonifacci and Tobia, 2016). Teacher influences student to put question
and student also allows asking questioning which builds comprehension and enhance retention
power of students. Evaluation is the most essential element in learning process where teachers
access on student by taking extempore test. Extempore test supports teacher to analyses learning
skills of each student in classroom. Besides of these teachers organizes annual or semester
exams. This test evaluates overall comprehension and retention power of academic student.
Through this evaluation student enables to enhance quality of learning. Academic effectiveness

things in writing. These skills support to elaborate concepts and leads retention power in their
learning.
Question: Reading leads activeness and curiosity in students regarding reading material where

comprehension. Due to physical discomfort students enables gain more knowledge by surveying.
In that state student unable to improve quality of learning. beside of this if students suffers from
low blood sugar, in that state student unable to give proper concentration which can reduce
comprehension of student during reading (Lavena, 2016). If student suffers from cold that can
distract student to concentrate on reading which creates incapability in retention Power. Mental
condition also a big barrier for student. For example if a student suffers from migraine problem
in that state unable to give more pressure on his mind which creates incapability to
understanding and reading. This reason can decrease quality of learning.
Environmental: Temperature is a barrier which can reduce student's understanding for subject.
Atmosphere supports to encourage student to build comprehension and leads concentration in
retention (Ness, 2016). If student doesn't get good visualization in classroom then it can distract
student during remembering reading material.

When student doesn't get concept in well-formed. In that state, unable to remember reading
material and incapable to give answers due to confusion. It can reduce chances to achievement in
academic.

doesn't get such kind survey it reduces student activity and creativity. It can loss interest of
students.
Lack of participant: Number of student doesn't involve any type of survey or curriculum in that
case unable to build comprehension which gives negative impact in learning.
Thus, above barriers prevent student to build comprehension and retention. Lack of
comprehension and retention students unable to sharp their learning skills which reduce
achievement of academic students.
CONCLUSION
It has been concluded comprehension concepts which supports in retention and explained
that comprehension and retention both are closely interlink to each other where retention is
dependent on comprehension. These skills help to improve learning quality of students. In this
report has been described importance of compensation and retention in student life and has been
