INTRODUCTION
The concept of information and communication technology is termed as the wide area of
information technology in order to establish communication trough using various mediums such
as internet, video conferencing, computers, social media networking channels and digital
platforms. All these platforms provides various facilities to their user to store their information
convey it to others, recover as well as access data from every place digitally. Information
communication technology help organisation to establish effective and clear communication
within and outside of its organisation with using telecommunication, network based technology
and audiovisual processing. Zoom application, Microsoft team and go to meeting are the
effective medium of ITC. Cloud services facilitates organization to maintain its infrastructure
and provide it various digital services in order to achieve objectives in defined manner. In the
pandemic of COVID-19 every organization use digital platform to communicate with their staff
members. In this report zoom application, Microsoft team and their application, advantages and
features are being discussed. Cloud storage and various challenges of technologies are also
mentioned in this project report.

Information communication technologies
Information communication technology is described as the technology that is utilise by
various organisation in order to communicate with its employees and other members. Generally
it is the technology that facilitates communication. In the situation of COVID-19 these
technologies are used by the every organisation to be in connection with their employees through
conduction online meetings. Zoom and Microsoft team is used by organisation in order to
establish effective communication that are discussed below:
Zoom application:
Zoom application is a video-calling application that facilitates to connect 100 user at a
same time period. It is used for conduct meetings, online learning, for taking college lectures and
for many other things(Zoom application,2021). It allows its user to enjoy features of unlimited
one-to-one meeting. In the COVID-19 pandemic zoom app is utilised by the all sectors
organisation in order to conduct their activities in efficient manner.

Features of Zoom application: Zoom application plays vital role in establishing
communication between organisational members and with other business. In the Zoom app
various types of features are involved that make it more suitable and effective(Al-Htaybat,von
Alberti-Alhtaybat,and Alhatabat, 2018). It has capacity to collaborate the range of 300 UR and
various external non UR users with the help of white boarding as well as chats. The respective
application can be used in the mobile, laptop and other devices that is easily reachable to anyone.
It also has feature to detect the voice of meeting and record the whole meeting.
Suitability of zoom application: Zoom application is suitable for the large as well as
small organisations as it is quite easy to set up, exercise and mange all meetings on this. On this
application meetings are started by the one click, so there is no need to appoint IT team to handle
. It can be accessed in the mobile and desktop of users. Respective application provide the high
definition video and better quality audio services at the time of meeting.
Advantages of Zoom application
Easy to use and deploy: Zoom application is quite easy to use by just downloading the
app and click on it and it is ready to work. Deployment of this is also easy for the users. By using
this application any one can connect with their customers, employees and colleague. It is
connected in mobile device and desktop easily that bring all departments, offices and remote
participants. So it is quite easy to use.
Provide better services in slow connection: Zoom application connects number of
participants effectively and able to provide better services to its user even in the slow network
connection. In this application, maximum 100 participants can share their screen or conduct
meeting in the remote areas.
Enhance flexibility in the work: Respective application enhance the flexibility in the
working procedure and make it more effective. It can connect various participants from various
locations. It is able to handle meeting efficiently without any disturbance. It ensures the work
productivity in the travelling situation also.
Disadvantage of Zoom
 Delayed customers services is the most drawback of the zoom app. It takes too much time
to solve problems and grievances of customers.
 Various security concerns also limits the application use. There is always a threat that
some hackers hack the confidential information that are being discussed in the meetings.
